Ok... It's not technically gay for you to like him. You like his music and his songwriting skills. However, in our society, to say you straight up like Justin Bieber, will make people think there's something wrong. I would word it as "I think he writes good music", it sounds better. Or "His music is alright", which is what my fiance says about some one like Justin Timberlake, cause he doesn't want to say "I love Justin Timberlake!!". When you say "I like Justin Bieber" as a guy, we will invision your room covered in posters of Justin and maybe a Justin Bieber bedsheet set, maybe some Bieber curtains, idk lol. It would be like guys saying "I like the Backstreet Boys (or 'N Sync)" 12 years ago. Would've provoked some funny looks. Lady Gaga is a gay icon... I don't know how you could tell people you even like her music without making them assume you're gay. Maybe say "She's hot" or "I'd do her", lol. If you don't like people asking if your gay, I would keep my Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber love on the down low. If you don't care, well more power to you! It's just the way our culture is, straight men are expected to be "manly". A love of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber is not seen as very "manly" (again, in our society). When you don't fit the norm of society's expectations for you as a man, they will question you. Make sense? We will change, grow, evolve, but for right now, this is how it is.
