What do you think about superhero movies?
I believe most Marvel movies are made just to squeeze money. Altough i enjoyed Iron Man 1 and 2 back then (which are heavly criticised even by fans) now i see they all are (actually most) almost the same movie. Let's see;Our hero has became what it is with various eventsOur hero rises against low level enemies and suchThen comes a nemesis which kicks our heros butt for a whileThen our hero stands up remembering a quote or his uncle or with some encourage and defeats nemesis.Sequels usually repeat steps 2-3-4 therefore mostly even more boring. Not only Marvel but DC does this too. Green Lantern and Superman Returns were made in the same way. Iron Man and GL were bad examples ok, just a lousy story with no background idea. Nolan's Dark Kinghts and Marvel's Daredevil serie(for the first season at least) was just a story with mostly (except for Jokers in DK) no background idea again but very well made.And then there is Watchmen. A true masterpiece if you ask me. It has action, history and sociological ideas that make people think while entertaining.About forthcoming movies; i have no expectation from Dawn of Justice and absolutely no interest in avengers. Suicide Squad and Deadpool(beacuse of his 4th wall thing) may be nice movies.Now i know that i'm making some arrogant assumptions and such but this is my thought on these movies. I've always had a very versatile taste in music and movies. I used to love hardcore action movies and even harder music but now looking for a meaning in stuff, feelings or ideas. Part of growing up and old i guess

Is is weird that I don't like superhero movies?
No, its not really that weird. These movies really appeal to fans of the character and don't really do much for anyone that's not a fan. I think a lot of the problem with the writing is that you're trying to squeeze a story line that would probably run for a year in the comic books into a 2 hour movie. So a lot of the character development, dialogue, etc gets left out in favor of action which, lets face it, sells tickets. I love some of the superhero movies and some I can't stand and its all about whether I'm a fan of the character most of the time. I read X-men comics and I like the movies (the earlier ones anyway), and I can say the same about The Avengers, Thor, and a few others. A good example for the flipside, and here come the thumb downs for my comment, lol... I'm not a fan of Batman and I haven't really liked many of the movies. They're not bad by any means but the story of an individual film is not great enough to interest me. So, back to your original question... I'm really curious to know if you were a reader of any Superhero comic books, and if you were (and if they made a movie of one of your faves)... Did you enjoy that one? These type moves pretty much come down to fans being willing to overlook things about their heroes.
Is it strange for a girl to like superhero movies?
I'm a girl and I'm 13... But strangely I LOVE some superhero movies like Thor, Spider-man... And I think I would love The Avengers (which is in cinemas right now!)... so today in the city I live in, a new cinema is opening, there will be awesome 3D there (don't make fun of me that we didn't have a cool cinema or sumthing)... And I promised my dad to go to the cinema with him to watch a movie... but I want to watch The Avengers but I'm afraid that he'll laugh at me for liking this kind of movies... he is a GREAT dad... but idk... please answer fast cuz I don't have much time to pick a movie...
Why do people enjoy superhero movies?
Because real life is already full of real life stuff. People like to fantasize, imagine themselves flying around in a suit of armor, or swinging around across the buildings, or simply hulking out and beating the crap out of someone that annoys them. Superhero movies allows people to escape from reality and live in a fantasy world for a couple hours. A world where they root for a character they relate to and/or long to be.As for should you watch them; well, that’s a question only you can answer.If you are willing to be open minded, try 2008’s Iron Man and see what this genre has to offer. I recommend that one because it’s a good movie to ease into the genre.
