Do You Like The World War Z Book Or Movie Better

How did the World War Z book compare to the movie?

It's like comparing caviar to polyester balls. The book is a masterpiece, showing a world fall apart, the government measures, confusion, chaos, then adaptation. It shows the struggles as the world picks itself up, discards old tactics for new ones. It questions morality, courage, choices, what the world had to do to survive. The movie is one UN guy running around killing things which jumpscare him. It's a cliche action/horror film, and with the premise that this guy single-handedly saved the world.

What does this quote from world war Z movie mean?

Mother Nature is a serial killer. No one's better. Or more creative. Like all serial killers, she can't help the urge to want to get caught. What good are all those brilliant crimes if no one takes the credit? So she leaves crumbs. Now the hard part, why you spend a decade in school, is seeing the crumbs. But the clue's there. Sometimes the thing you thought was the most brutal aspect of the virus, turns out to be the chink in its armor. And she loves disguising her weaknesses as strengths. She's a *****.

Which World War Z audio book is best for me?

You want the one at http://www.audible.com/pd/ref=sr_1_1?asi... - it's called the movie tie-in edition only because it was released with the movie. Basically, they released an abridged version several years ago ( http://www.audible.com/pd/ref=sr_1_2?asi... is it) and then they released The Lost Files. The first one, the movie tie-in edition, is a combination of the other two in one volume. You can buy the abridged version plus the Lost Files, but why buy both when you can just buy the movie tie-in edition and get the same content and in the correct order?

I have to make a book report about World War Z, but I don't want to read the book. How similar is the movie to the book?

Like some others have already said, the only thing the movie has in common with the book is the title and zombies. Unlike the movie, which was terrible, the book is definitely worth the time to read.

Horror Movies: How are the zombies from World War Z different from those in I am Legend?

The zombies in I Am Legend are sensitive to UV light to the point that boils develop on their skin when exposed to UV light.  They also have a form of intelligence and problem-solving ability as demonstrated by the fact that they lured Dr. Neville to an obvious trap.  The head of that zombie pack also became furious when the female zombie was stolen, meaning that they must have a hierarchy of some sort within their packs. In contrast, the zombies in World War Z can attack during the day but cannot attack those who already have a terminal illness within them.  They also exhibit no signs of intelligence or hierarchy in their packs but they can climb on each other over walls as demonstrated in Jerusalem.  There are also no semblance of human emotion within these zombies either. Both are attracted to noise, though the IAL zombie can also see their targets. My Blog: Equipping the Sent

Why in the movie "World War Z" zombies don't eat human flesh?

With any fictional creature writers tend to do what ever they wish. Old school vampires are considerably different than popular vampires of today. Sometimes things are so blurred that you can't even tell what the writers are creating. For instance the movie I Am Legend. They were suppose to be vampires and yet many fans of the movie claim they are zombies.

Writers, (and sometimes directors and producers), are changing things to try and keep something new in front of the audience. Things that will make their movies and books stand out from the crowd.
