How do I explain to a girl why I like her?

Actually this is a question, which according to me, is not supposed to be explained with her qualities.Let me tell you why...If you say, it's her beauty --- When you first saw her, she must have looked very beautiful that she touched your heart. But in your journey with her, you might have seen her in messy hair, while she is sick, while she is in her pajamas or many other situations, but it didn't stop you from keep on loving her. So it doesn't matter. If you say, you like her smile --- There might be situations where she cried her heart out, when she is pain, she still looked pretty, isn't she, when she is wanting comfort in your arms. So, it doesn't matter. If you say, it's her intelligence --- when she does anything dumb around you, she might become conscious, you don't want that, do you? It doesn't matter too.I can list many here. What i mean is, just don't limit the reasons why you like her by saying them out. Just don't say, don't say it to yourself either. Instead, show how much you love her. If you wanna say something sweet, say that she cannot be replaced, say her that her presence makes you feel lively, say her that her smile makes you forget your pain, say her that she being with you, makes you stronger,  say her you feel void without her, say her that you like to grow old with her.Love just happens in a second, and after that, the qualities that led to it doesn't matter, we can't stop ourselves from loving them is what i believe.

Can you explain the meaning behind your name, or why your parents named you that way?

My Quora name, and also my official name in all my certificates, documents, passport, id cards, driving licence is Gopalkrishna Vishwanath. As an infant, in 1949, I was named exactly as per the conventions in the community I belong to and that was:Chittur Gopalakrishnan Kaashi-Vishwanathan Iyer. The custom / convention for naming any one was as follows:(Name of place of origin) (Father’s name) (first name) (surname/family name/caste name)Chittur (pronounced चित्तूर) is a village in Palakkad District of Kerala State of India, where my ancestors hail from. My father/grandfather/great-grandfather and all earlier ancestors that we can recall and trace, were born and lived this village. My father migrated to Mumbai in the mid nineteen forties in search of a career. Since then the name Chittur is merely a formality. Our family’s links with Kerala state snapped when my grandfather died in 1980 and my father and uncles sold our ancestral house.Gopalakrishnan is my father’s name. It means ‘protector of cows- Krishna’ named after the cowherd Lord Krishna, avatar of Lord Vishnu.Kaashi-Vishwanathan : Kaashi is the Indian name for the holy city of Benares ,as the British called it and later renamed Varanasi. This city is famous for its temple devoted to Lord Shiva. Vishwanath is another name for Lord Shiva. Vishwa means world, Nath means Lord. So my name Vishwanath means ‘Lord of the world’Iyer - is the name of a sub-caste among South Indian Brahmins. While admitting me to school, my father told me that there was no place in the admission form to write my full name and he shortened it to Gopalkrishna Vishwanath and that name has stuck with me ever since.I shortened it further to GV, by which name I was known by all my friends and colleagues throughout my student life and professional career.—

If I can't explain why I love the person, is it love?

I think if you can’t explain why you love a person, it’s more likely to be love.Since the dawn of time humanity has been trying to explain love, and while scientists can now talk of hormones and synapses it is still something we cannot properly describe to someone who has not experienced it.We come into the world unable to comprehend anything rationally, but yet still we are feeling, experiencing and in an abstract way thinking. We can to an extent explain consciousness in scientific terms, but we cannot explain awareness. That is to say, we cannot explain what is experiencing our consciousness, we only know that we are experiencing it.I call this part of ourselves the core self or true self. It lies deeper than the ego, deeper than any understanding of what we are, it is simply an abstract sense of me-ness.I believe true love to be a connection between one’s own core self and that of another. Given the part of us doing the loving is incapable of rational thought, it follows that love would be impossible to rationalize. When someone does have seem to have a clear list of why they love another, look again. You’ll usually notice that they are actually listing why the other is useful to them. One does not love usefulness, one uses usefulness.

Do you like these baby names?

I love them all very much but some of them have recently become too popular so that a lot of babies will have those names and that will make them kind of common although they are all cute names but if people love the same names you can end up with a kind of epidemy .. that because a name is very trendy or very nice right now a lot of parents choose that name and then one finds 5 girls with those names in one classroom or 5 boys.;

I like Bethany because it's nice and not very common and she could be called Beth or Bessie as a little girl.
I like Abigail because it is also not very common and would use Abbie as a nickname. Rachel is another nice name and not too often used...

Jessica is nice too and Madeleine and Jade but there are many many girls called Madeleine right now and no end of Jade's even if the names are sweet..

I like the name Jessalynne.. that is less common than Jessica

for girls I would say.. Bethany
Jessalynne instead of Jessica
and Abigail (Abbie as a nickname

Other names i like are Rosanna or Rosabelle, Arianna, Lilian or Lilianna (Lily for short) Romina (Romy for short) Gabriella (Briella, Riella or Ella for short) Isabella (Izzy for short)
Evalina or Evangela (Evie for short) , Jessamine instead of Jasmine (Jessie for short) xx

for boys I like Daniel, Michael and Ryan because there are great middle names for them...
Ryan Timothy
Ryan Alexander
Ryan Mark

Daniel Lucas
Daniel Liam
Daniel Connor
Daniel Scott
Daniel Thomas

Michael Robert
Michael Alexander
Michael Joshua

Michael Taylor
Michael Patrick
Michael James
