Do You Like To Take Your Flip Flops Off At The Store Or Mall

Black flip flops that won't stain my feet?!?

a good way to get rid of them staining your feet is to let them sit out in the sun for hours before wearing them
OR soak them in water for a few mintues then set them out in the sun to dry and the water will soak all the dye in so it wont darken your feet

Do I cut off this little plastic piece on my flip-flops?

I only ever bought one pair of flip flops with the plastic on them and I cut them off immediately. When they were on, they dug into the skin between my toes and I couldn't walk with them on.

If the plastic on them is just a little tube that goes around that part, then it's fine to cut it off. If it's actually connected to some part of the shoe, then I wouldn't recommend cutting it. But I really doubt it's connected to any part of the shoe, lol. I cut mine and my flip flops are still fine a year later, so go ahead!

I personally think it's there for germ protection when people try them on in the store (which is probably why they aren't on the cheap ones), and it's fine to cut it off after you buy em. Good luck!

If you are walking in flip-flops at school or the mall...?

I've never worn flipflops that hurt, but I have been barefoot for the past ten years, including malls and all other places. The anti-barefoot rule *some* (not all!) US stores have is NOT based on liability. US barefooters have called many insurance companies and none of them had any requirements or even recommendations about footwear for customers. Also, some barefooters have noticed they weren't allowed in barefoot 'for safety' but others were allowed in with 6" or higher heels, and other such unsafe footwear, even when floors were slick! Barefoot risk is very low, feet are far stronger than most people who never go barefoot think. I go barefoot everywhere, never divert my step no matter how much glass I see and I get a tiny splinter maybe once a year, never had a cut, never had the smallest splinter indoors. On the other hand, I've seen friends fall in heels and platform shoes... and a twisted ankle is a more serious injury than a small splinter. Liability is just an excuse, just like 'health laws' (there are no laws requiring footwear).

Is it okay to drop off my 14-year-old daughter at the mall barefooted? She likes to window shop and hang out with friends. Should I be concerned?

Well, I have a drastically different opinion than Debora lol. I have been a barefoot hippy my whole life. I grew up hating shoes, found ways to go nearly barefoot when I worked away from home (Vibrams FTW! You can also make cheap pairs yourself using toe socks and spray sealant.), and ONLY wear shoes now because my husband is staunchly against our daughters walking around everywhere barefoot and if I do it, they want to. SO! I think it’s fine.I go barefoot as much as possible, inside and outside. If your daughter is wanting to walk around barefoot and you’re concerned, tell her that there are chances that she could hurt her foot - which she probably already knows. You can even ask that she keeps a pair of roll-up ballet slippers (the cheap kind) or flipflops in her purse in case she has to walk across iffy areas or if she wants to go into a shop that doesn’t allow bare feet. You shouldn’t be too concerned, tbh. I find it more comfortable and prefer it. I love it and there are some hippies out there (like myself!) that insist it’s better for your foot health and your overall health. You’ll find a lot of info about “grounding” out there, which needs to be done with bare feet.In regards to what her friends may think - they probably already know, don’t care, or find it endearing. I actually went out clubbing (when I was much younger) with a friend barefoot. The clubs didn’t care, my friends thought it was funny, and I didn’t cut my foot once! ;) However, HIGHLY recommend that she take baby wipes or disinfectant wipes because public bathrooms and even sidewalks can be nasty. If she steps in something gross, believe me - she’ll want them!In regards to being concerned, have you tried asking her why she likes to go barefoot?Sure hope this helps!

What is cheaper...clothing IN Aeropostale stores, or ONLINE?

On aeropostale.com...The clothes are cheap and nice (IMO!)
I live 6 hours away from the closest Aero store.
Shipping is about $18-20 when I buy on their site.

Im in need of summer clothes bad and this weekend there is a 30% off everything sale.
So I have a bunch of shorts, shirts, flipflops etc in my 'shopping cart' on their site for like $7 and $10! The pants and tops I have picked out are $10 with the 30% off and flipflops are $7 !

I am going to an Aero store sometime in late April/Early May.
But will the clothing in their store be as cheap as it is online?
Thanks:D

how do i remove the tag myself without ruining the garment?
do hco tags have ink?

i dont care if your method would leave a hole because of where the tag is located

My sandal straps cut my feet. is there any way i can keep them from cutting me?

i have these super cute sandals (they fit perfectly). but i have this one problem...
the other day i went walking around in them, showing off, but then after a while my feet started to hurt. i checked them, and there were these deep gaping gashes slashed all down the side of my feet.
i put rubbing alchohol on them when i got home and they stung like crazy.
is there any product that can prevent this? like a creme or something?
