Do You Mind Hurrying Up With The Good Questions I

Is September a good time for a New Years Resolution?

With my new fit firm body (thank you McTealc for the exercise on the moors!) and my abstention from the booze (after a short while of total absorbtion in it to kill the pain) - I am embracing celibacy and fitness and abstention.

It is just me and the hens from now on. No men, no chocolate (the demons tool that started this decline in my life!) no clan warfare!

A simple, clean living, stressless life for me.

Unless ..................... that sounds like familiar footfalls out by the hen hoose ...........................

At 11:11 do I say the wish outloud or in my mind hurry!?

It depends on your preferences. I personally think that you should say it in your mind, since saying it out loud will most probably cause you to be in a hurry. Don't worry, there's still tomorrow to wish for 11.11 p.m. Some may come true, and some may not. :)

Do you hurry up when you notice a stranger walking ahead of you stopped to hold the door open for you?

Not a direct answer to your question, but it brought up a memory: One day as my family (husband and 2 sons, plus myself) was getting ready to exit a restaurant, another family group of 8, were about to come in. My younger son, being the gentleman he always is, had reached the door first and held it open. The other family, one after the other waltzed in, ignoring my son - no “thank you”, no acknowledgement whatsoever from any of them.My husband, older son and I were standing back and to the side in order to give them room. After the last one came in, we exited, while my younger son held the door for us. We all just looked at each other and shrugged and my older son remarked, “ not one of them said ‘thank you’ to (brother).”When we approach a restaurant, we tend to hold the door open for those coming out, then when the coast is clear, we will enter. Same with an elevator - allow elevator occupants to exit first, before entering. It seems that the number of people with no concept of common courtesy is on the upswing these days.If a stranger is holding a door open for me, yes, I quicken my pace (as fast as my half a century old legs will go) and thank the kind person with sincerity and a big smile.

Is it too terrible to leave the table before everyone is done eating?

I am taking my son to Disney World, meeting some friends there. Their kids are awesome but are verrry slow eaters. Must I keep my son sitting there while we wait for the others? I would usually not leave until everyone is done, but this trip is so expensive that I hate to waste time just sitting and waiting. Thoughts?

HELP! I think my co-worker is a psychic mind reader?!?!?

HELP! HURRY! I think that my best pal & co-worker, Kath has very psyched visions and mind reading capbilties! I am currently at my works space in my cubby cube and I have been very dosed and tireds all morn. I was just getting ready to file some more pape work when Kath who works several cub spaces down peeked her head up and yelled "does anyone want coffees?". She could not even see my faces to tell that I was very exhaust, nor did I talk to her this morn to tell her how exhaust I was. I think she was getting psychic vibrations! Another co-worker, Linda, yelled out "YOU MUST HAVE READ MY MIND" so I am clearly not the only one who seems to think she is a psychic mind reader. Should I ask her more psychical questions or do you think she will get offended by it?

Does any one know a really hard riddle, or any good jokes?

hmmm.....maybe you already heard of this one.
There's a traveler who comes upon a fork in the road. One sign says Truthville, the other Liarsville.
A villager is standing inbetween the two. The traveler needs to ask him for directions, but he doesn't know which village he is from. (if he's from truthsville, he'll tell the truth, liarsville, the opposite) What question does he need to ask to get to truthville?
