How do you tell someone that you lost something important to them?
Before you say anything to her, set up an appointment or get a gift certificate from a good photo studio so that they can have their pictures done again. Tell her you know how much that picture meant to her and that's why you feel terrible now. Offer her the photo session by saying, "I know this can't make up for the picture I lost, but I hope that it helps a little." Mistakes happen, it's what you do to rectify the mistake that matters. If you unblock someone on Facebook, will all of their picture comments, wall posts, etc reappear?
I noticed after blocking someone that their comments are still on my pictures, wall, etc...their name is just grayed out. I know that blocking someone cuts off all contact, including your facebook friendship. But if you remove them from your block list and re-friend them, will those posts reappear? And if so, why are they still there after you block them if they will go away once you friend them again? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of blocking them, so you can't look at what they've said to you in the past? (I don't know if its clear or not, but I clearly have blocked a recent ex-girlfriend) :(

How do I find out who someone's parents are?
My sister and I just discovered that we may have an unknown sister or relative. From some photos that were brought to us at our store by a lady we barely know (and can't contact), she looks a whole lot like us and it's spooky. We have been unable to find her name on any birth records on ancestry-type sites. We know her middle name, what high school she graduated from and year, and a few other statistics. We are hesitant to use websites which as for our credit card to see information. Any ideas how we can find her birth certificate?

What's wrong with "Because I don't want to."? Your photos are your own private property and you have the right NOT to send them off to every Tom, Dick, and Harry who asks for them. Or Tomasina, Dee, and Harriet... whatever the case may be...
