Do You Think A Comic That

What do you think of anime-haters who troll on the Comics & Animation section?

Easy, people that have nothing better to do with their free time.
It's kinda sad when you think about it, they have no creative bone in their body.
So they just sit on yahoo answers talking ****.
But that's the internet for ya.

Do you think anime and comics are for losers?

Anime is...comics aren't

Guys, what do you think about comic obsessed girls?

I think it's cool, but I might be a bit biased since I'm a girl too. I'm into video games and anime and most people (and guys) don't have a problem with it. However, I do call myself a nerd. =) Although, I believe one of the definitions of a nerd is overly intellectual (which is somewhat objective since if your surrounded by morons you look hella smart) and socially inept, which I am not and which you don't seem to be. Lots of people will think it's weird but there is someone to think something is weird for everything in the world. They probably think the comics are weird, and not that your a girl into comics.

As a DC comics fan how do you think of Marvel movies?

I wish DC would stick to TV and stop trying to compete with Marvel on movies. The DCAU and the CW-verse are both better than anything DC has done since The Dark Knight. Fingers crossed for the Wonder Woman movie, but overall I don’t think this is worth the effort when WB could take that same money and put it into Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl or their new Justice League relaunch. The MCU, on the other hand, is masterfully done. At worst they feel a little formulaic, at best they push boundaries while still fitting in with the rest of the setting.

Why do you like comics?

I like comics because they’re unique. They’re not books, but they use the printed word and oftentime prose in how they tell a story. They’re not TV or cinema, but they use pictures and a sense of motion. The fact that they’re created by a writer and/or an art team means that they’re not limited by the budget of animation or TV in terms of exactly what they can portray on the age.The other thing to consider is that comics are far more than the scope of the notes for your question. Superheroes are the biggest sector of the US direct market, but they’re not the be-all and end-all of comics, or even movie adaptations of comics. Since the year 2000, there have been adaptations of more than 70 non-superhero english-language comics, compared to a little more than 140 superhero ones. It’s true that Marvel and DC’s continuity is frequently baroque and hard to understand from an outsider’s perspective, especially as DC has “soft rebooted” theirs a number of times and Marvel have started to do that too. But take a look outside their spaces and you’ll find a hell of a lot of good, accessible stuff. Take a look at Valiant, Image and IDW in the US market to begin with.

How much do you think this comic book will be worth in the future?

Cash it while the Obama name is still hot.

I have friends who have rare comics they have collected for like 20 years...not exactly a retirement plan.

Lol, what do you think of the claim that liking comics and anime in your 30s makes a person 'mentally undeveloped'?

Comics and anime can be great entertainment and literature/media so it seems very judgemental to me, and if anything implies the people accusing are mentally undeveloped or just buy into the way society should be.

They also said never being married and partying make someone mentally undeveloped, idiots.
