I'm gonna rephrase the answer and put it like thisBayern are the biggest underachievers in football,you might call me mad for calling a side which has one the bundesliga which zero competition since 2013They have arguably the best goalkeeper of the last ten years,they have a defense arsenal fans masturbate over,their midfield is creative and reduces the pressure on its world class strikers,its not like they have trouble scoring as well(ahem..ahem..Robert lewandowski), Thomas Mueller is one the most versatile attackers in the world, they have ribery and robben on the wings a misfiled trio of James,thiago and Vidal and have world class coaches like pep,heyneckes and ancellottiSo its the most fucked up thing in football that they haven't won the champions league in five years,On paper they are the best team in the world but they just lack that oomph(maybe a ronaldo or messi)which makes then truly great

What do you think Bayern Munich should do to become more competitive in Europe?

For me Bayern Munich has a big ego.They think as if they are the best team in the world.I am not being biased its just a straight opinion.Truth is they are just a show off.The actual truth is they just know to steal talented players from bvb and many German teams and make Bundesliga a one team league.This practise is just injustice in terms of football,they lure talented players by offering them high wages to them plus some benefits,players without doubt join them.After all these what they get?A Bundesliga trophy and some petit domestic trophy.But in Ucl(silence)..You know what i mean.Under Hyneckens they were really a great team.Now if they really want to dominate Europe this things are essential.Keep Ego aside and Focus more on Ucl:Many say they have a winning menatlity but there is a huge difference between ego and winning mentality.Ego means proving their worth in Bundesliga and lose to slightly better team in Ucl.Winning menatality means always giving best in every format of game and accepting defeat.Thats why Madrid,Barcelona always dominate football.They never underestimate anyone and always are ready to give everything.Hire a vastly experienced Coach:After heyneckens they thought Kovac will create his own impact at the team but it looks like he has already lost the dressing room.This is what happens when you hire a mid table team coach(Barcelona did the same mistake).They should hire wenger,Van Gaal or anyone in this footballing world who can remove problems from the roots and these managers are specialists in it.Stop whinning over lose:This happens only when you have great ego.A winning mentality always analyse on its lose and try to be better next time.Bayern always whin over their lose,blame everyone and then repeats the cycle.I know they are cheated many times but a true winner against all odds fights against it.

Nope, nowhere near the best team ever.I've read up on football history and for me, Sacchi's Milan back in the 90s and Pep's Barca have been the best teams in history of football. Who were the better of them? Hm, that's a tough one but I'd go with Barca (despite supporting Real since childhood).But just to give a primer of how good Arrigo Sacchi's team was, which comprised of Gullit, Baresi, Van Basten etc., once before a crucial Champions League tie between Madrid and Milan, Madrid sent one of their scouts to Milan to see what tactics Sacchi was looking to employ against them. Rumour is, Sacchi was told scout was arriving, so he trained his players, without any football that day, which he did before called 'shadow football'! The chemistry that team had was that good. Needless to say, Madrid were battered 5–0 the next day, back in ’89.Well, what can you say about Barca under Pep? Yep, they had refereeing decisions in their favour but even then, the football they played was orgasmic at times. If I'm not wrong, Pep won 17 or 24 trophies in his years at Barca, playing purely beautiful football. The cream of the crop he had, Xavi, Andres, Lionel, Puyol, Valdes and the team harmony, chemistry​ was beyond incredible. Huge credit to Jose Mourinho for breaking the dominance, that's another debate. But the three years Barca dominated football was beyond understanding.Note: I might be a tad off with my facts, if someone finds them wrong, pls feel free to let me know.

What's the better team Real Madrid or Bayern Munich? Not only in present time all time

I am die hard Real Madrid fan but it is not going to make this answer biased.They are in different leagues so there can only be comparison in Uefa Champions League.All right, let’s look at it in detail.Number of UCL semi-finals appearances, it is old image but I have given the correct number in the description.There are 27 appearances for Real Madrid and 18 for Bayern Munich.Now the number of Trophies in their cabinet.Though, this is a old image. Including the yesterday’s win, Real Madrid made it 11 trophies for themselves.Bayern Munich have only 5 with them.In addition to this,Real Madrid won the 1st five Uefa Champions Leagues.Bayern Munich is a really good and strong team with the likes of Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller, Franck Ribery and Manuel Neuer (Probably the best goal-keeper in the footballing world currently) but Real Madrid are clear winner here.Cheers !
