Do you think Christopher Greene is actually Brandon Lee?

I mean, same voice. He wears iconic bruce lee character props like glasses and weird collared shirts. Same birth mark. Same speach rushedness.

It's gotta be. What do you think?

Who are your favorite authors and what makes them special to you? How did you encounter their words? What do their books mean to you?

I have limited loyalty to authors.I fall in love with one series, one book, one character, and they can never reproduce it.Those who I do really like are:Allie Brosh— Hyperbole and a HalfShe’s what I want to be when I grow up.I came across her work when it was mentioned by The Oatmeal on his website. Her writing is genuine and raw and hilarious. She has a beautiful piece on depression that hits home— it’s everything I’ve experienced. She makes you think and laugh, and usually cry. She’s brilliant.Christopher Paolini— The Inheritance CycleThese books are my life.My sister read them, and thought I might like them.I read his first book, Eragon, when I was maybe 10.I’m 18 and I still reread that series.Through all of his verbosity, I found something incredibly endearing about watching 15-year-old Christopher write the growth of 15-year-old Eragon. It’s really real. Even if the plot gets predictable and his needless descriptions of trees get a little old, I love the world he created and the characters he wrote. Those books always have a place in my heart. I love them.Douglas Adams— Hitchhiker’s Guide to the GalaxyUh, duh.My friend gave me his book as a birthday present in the seventh grade. It’s not that his books mean much to me— it’s that they’re witty and well-done. He’s got such a sense for comedy in these books that I wish I could replicate. His stuff is just enjoyable to read. His compilation of writing, The Salmon of Doubt was a lot more thought-provoking. Some of his essays are really interesting to read. They’re very human— fewer Vogons. All in all, he’s a great author. There are so many other books I love and authors I appreciate, but these three have always stood out to me.
