Do You Think God Will Return

What do you think is the chance that Jesus will return in your lifetime?

I think the chances of his return in my lifetime are almost certain! Matthew Ch.24 mentions the state that the world will be in at the time of his return and we se it all around us today. Jesus said all these things would happen in the space of one generation and I believe it is the generation which is alive today as we see wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, famine, plagues, earthquakes happening everywhere and droughts. My own personal opinion is that what we are experiencing now is simply a run up to the tribulation which will be a time more terrible on the earth than any other. Just one factor alone is the fact that the two witnesses mentioned in Revelations will have the power to "shut up heaven" so that there will be no rainfall for the first half of the 7 year period and already we see rainfall everywhere drying up and some countries are experiencing the worst drought in recorded history. The Lord knew what he was talking about as he told us these things so that when we saw them come to pass we would remember that he said it over 2000 years ago and that we would know for certain that he was who he claimed to be. When John wrote Revelations about 95AD he also mentioned that the two witnesses would eventually be overcome and killed and their dead bodies would lay in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days and the whole world would see them lay there. John had no way of knowing that the whole world would have the media of T.V. which accounts for how the entire world will see this event. We are also told that in the last days men would depart from the truth and follow after false doctrine which we also see everywhere. I know I will be glad to be alive when the rapture occurs as this world offers nothing worth taking into eternity (except our families)

When do you think God will return?

God has indicate that it will be as bad on earth "as it was in the time of Noah" when He (Jesus) returns.

Things ARE bad, but not THAT bad -- yet.

In the time of Noah almost everyone EXCEPT Noah and his family were uncaring, unbelieving fools. They were more concerned with drinking and sex and being entertained than they were with anything else. I have the impression that if it weren't for forced slavery, NO ONE would bother to plant food or raise animals, and the whole population would have starved anyway!

How close are we to days like that? Who does the general public honor more: The local pastor, or some football player? Do our children get their ideas from being in church, or from watching movies? Do we honor God with His word on our doors and public buildings, or do we have Gay Pride Parades? Is the Word of God GROWING in acceptance, or is it being reduced in effectiveness by Civil Rights activists who demand that prayer be taken out of school and the idea and words of "Christmas" never be spoken or displayed?

When do YOU think God is going to return? But more importantly, what will happen to YOU when He does?

Do you think God will let us return to earth from heaven if we want? aka. reincarnation?

2Pe 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2Pe 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Many people do because the prophecy about Israel becoming a nation has been fulfilled and the time sequence is supposed to be that that generation will not pass away. So some people would require the number of years a generation could be… 25 years, 50, 70, 80, 100 or 120 or even 360 or 1000 years. Another query would apply to the years 1948 as well as 1967. Furthermore, are the years ahead measured as 360 days per year or 365 to 366 days per year? The developments of Israel and its religious ceremonies could lead us closer to the return of Christ. So could the preaching of the Gospel, if leading to that final believer getting saved, or born again, or receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, or when that believer gets baptised in the Name of Jesus, in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…If Jesus returns according to the Jewish calendar system, then maybe a few more hundred years must pass by. Even so, the Holy Scriptures say the Church Age is a secret hidden in time, before it ends and the covenant clock with Israel continues, according to the 70 weeks of the prophecy that Daniel shared.Work that lot out if you can.Oxford Bible Church preacher, Derek Walker’s Book, The Panorama Of Time could be helpful, as it explains the prophecies…

How soon do you think Jesus Christ will return to rule the world?

I dont think God will allow him to return. Think of this Jesus is the SON of God.. but some freaks started worshipping him AS God.. well since we all know God has told us long ago (told Moses to tell us infact) Thou shalt have NO God but ME!!!
so that would make worshipping Jesus as though he were a God to be BLASPHEMOUS.. therefore God would NEVER allow Jesus to return to earth.

Other prophets have been put into GOd like worship and none of them returned either.. just look at earlier Prophet Buddah.. since Jesus, God sent Mohammed as a Prophet, I think this was him basically telling humans to "F-off" of worshipping Jesus and calling him "god"

I believe God will return to earth within 50 years. Let me tell you why and let me know your opinion.?

2Pe 3:a million This 2d epistle, cherished, I now write unto you; in the two which I hearth up your organic minds by employing way of remembrance: 2Pe 3:2 That ye could be attentive to the words that have been spoken till now by employing the holy prophets, and of the commandment human beings the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 2Pe 3:3 understanding this commonplace, that there shall come interior the final days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 2Pe 3:4 And asserting, the place is the promise of his coming? for using fact the fathers fell asleep, all issues proceed as they have been from the initiating of the creation. 2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are unaware of, that by employing the know God the heavens have been of old, and the earth status out of the water and interior the water: 2Pe 3:6 wherein the international that then grow to be, being overflowed with water, perished: 2Pe 3:7 however the heavens and the earth, which at the instant are, by employing a similar be conscious are saved in shop, reserved unto hearth against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly adult males. 2Pe 3:8 yet, cherished, be no longer unaware of this one situation, that sometime is with the Lord as one thousand years, and one thousand years as sometime. 2Pe 3:9 The Lord isn't slack concerning to his promise, as some adult males count huge type slackness; yet is longsuffering to us-ward, no longer prepared that any ought to perish, yet that each and one and all ought to come to repentance. 2Pe 3:10 however the day of the Lord will come as a thief interior the nighttime; interior the which the heavens shall bypass away with an incredible noise, and the climate shall soften with fervent warmth, the earth additionally and the works that are therein would be burned up. 2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that one and all of those issues would be dissolved, what way of persons ought ye to be in all holy communique and godliness, 2Pe 3:12 searching for and hasting unto the appearance of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on hearth would be dissolved, and the climate shall soften with fervent warmth? Heb 9:27 And because it fairly is appointed unto adult males as quickly as to die, yet after this the judgment:

Do you think jesus return is closer then we think?

"His presence is all around us like never before." That's because He returned! If He hadn't, we wouldn't feel His presence, we would only have the 'seal of the Spirit, awaiting our redemption.' The 2nd coming is from the word "parousia," which means presence.

Revelation and other new testament letters are usually interpreted with the 'futurist' mind set, and this has been the 'tradition of men' for a long time. God is opening eyes rapidly to the 'preterist' mindset, which places all Biblical prophetic events in the past, during the Tribulation under Nero and the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. This view honors the time statements of the Bible "soon, at hand, in a little while, will not tarry, quickly, shortly, the last hour, standing at the door," etc etc... It also recognizes that these adverbs were given to an intended audience, the first hearers and readers of new testament letters. They can only mean what they mean to so many generations, and 500 have come and gone since Jesus' contemporaries. Which generation do they pertain to? They can't pertain to all of them, obviously! The answer is easy if we will stop looking through our 21st Century filter. Those words of imminence pertained to the ones they were directly addressed to!! This is a principle called "audience relevance."

Luke 21:22 tells us "these are the days of vengeance, in which all that is written shall be fulfilled." What are "these" days? The days the writer was living in!! Sure enough, history can attest to all the signs Jesus gave them to look for. The Roman Jewish War in particular. No one knew the day or hour, but they knew the general timeframe, and those who walked with Christ were not mistaken to expect Him to return in their lifetime! He did, just as He said He would!

People of all ages have said they were living in the 'last days.' They don't understand that this term refers to the 'end of an age,' - the old covenant dispensation. The Black Plague killed 75 million people. You don't think that seemed like the 'last days?' How about WW2, and Hitler killing 6 million... you don't think THEY thought they were living in the last days? Even during the Great Depression, people were probably thinking the same thing. We need to stop the date setting and procrastination nonsense, and study the nature and purpose of Jesus' 2nd Coming, and take the Bible at its divinely inspired word.
