Do You Think I Did The Right Thing

Do you think Hannah Baker did the right thing?

I was thrilled was under the impact of the show for few days. Hanna shouldn’t have killed herself she should’ve fought for justice, insteadd of taling such an extreme step she should’ve discussed it and should have bought it to her parents notice she should have ! She was a student focusing on her studies and helping her parents at store would have made a difference. The character was shown too much under peer pressure. She too multiple wrong decisions like falling for Justin too soon, not trusting Clay and pushing him away even when she knew that he was not among others and saying yes to Marcus on Valentine and last but not the least the last party she attended. She could have defended her self by running away or slapping Bryce. when she went to Mr. Porter she wasn't precisely mentioning things. she was vulnerableInstead spending so much time explaining things over the tapes she should've seeked help from Tony whom she trusted.

Do you think I did the right thing when I said that I didn't want to date him?

When I was 28 yo my then 46 yo ex coworker told me he liked me. He never had a girlfriend.
I felt bad about myself because a lot of people told me I was immature, shy, naive... A person also told me I wasn't normal and she was sorry for me. I believed that everything was true.

I said that I didn't want to date anyone because I wasn't normal so I should be single. I said that he wasn't normal too if he liked me.
I said that a 28 yo is too old to start dating for the first time and a 46 yo is too old to start too.
I said people told me I was immature so I shouldn't date a 46 yo. He told me that I was mature like a 18 yo because I didn't have a lot of experience but he liked me.

I concluded that I wanted to be single forever and I suggested him to to the same.

How can we say that we have done the right thing?

If you know your honor and integrity are intact you have done the right thing…. and you, and you alone, are the only one in the world who knows that. Explaining that to another person, with a different perspective and different experiences and perhaps different goals in their life… that can be challenging. You never have to say, “I did the right thing” or “we did the right thing” if you can demonstrate that the decision made or the action taken were in fact the right thing to do at the time, with the information you had, in the time-frame that was required in which to act or decide.I generally ‘flip’ the question when challenged on whether something was the right thing to do or not. When asked, “Chris, do you think you did the right thing?” I reply by asking, “With the information I had at the time, what decision (or action) would you have chosen and why?” If they cannot answer then you need not debate them at all or justify yourself. If you know you did the right thing, let the person questioning you make your argument for you. This gives you far more information about their perspective, their experiences, their intentions and their goals AND allows you to fill in the knowledge gap(s) they may have in questioning your decision action. If you have to defend your action or decision (as in a work environment) be methodical and logical with your reasoning and keep emotions out of the report. Do not state, ‘in my opinion’ or ‘ I believed’ or any statement of feeling… use the facts you had and when you had them. Then state, I did or I decided X because of A, B and C.People will always attack you for the actions you take and the decisions you make in this life because they are human (specifically a different human) with different emotions, thoughts, ideas and morals and ethics. Always demonstrate with logic and reasoning why the right choice was the right choice at the time, with the information at hand.~Chris

Do you think Tenma did the right thing when he saved Johan at the end of Monster?

I somewhat share Johan’s nihilistic views, so I don’t really think about the humanitarian or legal ramifications. I believe the right thing is determined by two personal elements. Those being what makes someone happy, and what someone can live with. With that criteria, neither operating nor not operating on Johan, would significantly affect Tenma’s happiness. However the second criteria is where the problem lies. Tenma is at heart a doctor, a savior. Unless I am mistaken, even the one guy he shot during the series didn’t actually die, correct? Tenma doesn’t know killing. If he had allowed Johan to die, he would have the guilt of killing him on his conscious for the rest of his life. He wouldn’t even once think about the people he potentially saved. I believe Tenma shares my perspective. The reality of the situation became apparent, so he decided to save Johan. Now from a third part perspective was it the right thing? I think the most innocent way of life we humans can lead is the one of striving for happiness. As such, I would never ask Tenma (pretending he is real) to let Johan die if it would haunt his conscience. Thanks for reading. I hope it helped and I wish you the best of luck. Do you think Romeo and Juliet did the right thing by marrying before anyone can object? Why or why not?

they were too young. Her father wanted her to wait to get married until she was at least 16... i think that probably would have been a good idea.
