Not really! At younger age, prettiness isn’t really defined by how you look and feel, but by how people make you feel! We are too young to have that confidence in ourselves and people around us play a major role in influencing our thoughts about ourselves.And especially, in India, where skin colour gets the utmost importance, it’s almost impossible for a dark-skinned girl like me to feel good during school time.It’s when we grow up and come in our senses is the time we realize what a real beauty is, rather than fretting upon the skin colors.

Yes of course. Just be careful about troublesome places and people that exist in every big city. (Drunks, football hooligans, unscrupulous taxi drivers etc.)Your skin color will attract a lot of attention, mostly positive. Both boys and girls will want to talk to you and be friends. Also they will stare a lot :)I recommend you to find local female friends and ask their advice whenever you are puzzled. If you have no friends, just imitate the women around and use common sense.For example, in addition to modern coffee houses indistinguishable from a Starbucks, we also have traditional ones where only males go and play backgammon or other games. So if you see a place with 50+ retired males and no females, don't enter there. They won't hurt you, but all eyes will be fixed on you during the time you are there.Also, try not to talk about politics or religion until you are really close with someone. Again, you won't be harmed but a promising friendship could get nipped in the bud.

Okay look. I am sick and tired of this subject, and all of the fake “anger” over older men and younger women. Just because a guy gets older, doesn’t mean his brain or his sexual desire shut off. A twenty year old, slender female ( just an example of what people might find attractive.. to each their own) was attractive to me when I was twenty ( hell, I found them attractive when I was 14….) and I am likely to find her attractive/ sexy when I am 80!Now…. SHOULD an old man come on to a much younger female? Sure… if he wants to embarrass himself. Up to him. But AGE doesn’t change his desire, or what he finds appealing! Go to a mall. Find an old guy. Sit next to him, and when an attractive younger girl walks by, ASK him if he thinks she’s pretty. “Sure!” He’s gonna say. Does that make him a BAD man?
