Do You Think Is Is Good On Watt Pad

What do you think of Wattpad?

I've not been at all impressed with what I've seen there. I've had a lot more success with two other sites:
critters.org
scribophile.com

Critters is mainly for writers of speculative fiction (sci-fi, fantasy and horror) but the groups for other genres and types of writing are growing all the time. Many of the writers on that site are published (properly published, not self-published), and have won awards, but it's for writers of all levels of experience and I've always felt comfortable there.
Scribophile is just as good, though set up a bit differently.
Wattpad is kindergarten level compared to these sites :)

What do you think of Wattpad?

READERS:It's an AMAZING platform for readers. There are a variety of books to read. However, books are not proofread, so it's quite difficult to find a book without many grammatical errors. Also, most of the popular books are extremely cliche. If you find a popular book, it probably has some bad boy, vampire, or werewolf. The best place to find good books to read is the Featured Novels. You can never go wrong there!WRITERS:It's a good platform. I used to write books, but didn't know where to share it. With wattpad, I was able to create an identity of my own. But Wattpad popularity heavily depends on your plot, the grammar/writing, and LUCK. Do cliche, write it well, and you're sure to become popular. It's very difficult to get noticed. There are millions of books out there, and unless you specifically ask a person to read your book, there's a lot of possibility that person would never have come across it otherwise. More than often, I find myself putting in much more effort than the results I'm getting, but ultimately, you should write for yourself.Overall, I'm really grateful for a website like Wattpad. It's amazing.

What do you think about Wattpad novels?

I personally love Wattpad, most of the books are very enjoyable and fun to read as well as creating your own all for free. I fully recommend it!

What do you think about writing in a Wattpad?

If you’re a novelist, you’re fine, in my opinion, at least. Writing a novel is different than writing a poetry book.If you’re looking for good poetry, 95% of it sucks. It just does. Trying to stand out in the midst of the shit poetry can be pretty hard.Tell me if this is creative:She cried in my arms when I said, “I love you.”People go crazy over that shit. Why? The author already has a following, and they thought they’d try out poetry for a change. The “poem” that got me really pissed was this:title: a lieACTUAL FUCKING POEM:i love you.I’ll admit it, some people do improve. No one started out good at anything (even at writing). But that, up there, is called being lazy. That, up there, is called “I don’t give a fuck as long as it gives me views.”I have shit poetry. Really shit poetry. My poet friends have shit poetry. What’s different is that we try to improve.I’ll tell you guys this as well; I’m no Edgar Allan Poe, or Robert Frost, or Maya Angelou. I’m far from that, and I realize that as well. I’m just upset, because I do try.I love you, my ass.I don’t know if I’m overreacting, but I’m really pissed. I have a really good Wattpad friend (who’s also a poet). You guys should check her out.˗ˏˋRueˊˎ˗ (@ruewritten) - Wattpad

WATTPAD, how do you like something?

You're right ,the facebook like button isn't the one, it's actually the "VOTE" button on the top right corner, right beside the "Reading List" button. :)

People can't see stories you've read unless you vote or comment on the stories. ..Okay, let me clear that up, lol, by "friends" you mean your 'Fans' and people you've fanned, right? Hm, well on your news feed you can only see things that people has said to you (on your message board, or a reply to your comment on a story etc.), when people votes/comment on your stories, and when the people you've fanned votes/comments/changes status/writes on anyone's message board. Note that you can't see what your fans are doing (unless it has anything to do with YOU, or unless you've fanned them back). The same goes for other people, so, only your fans can see what stories your vote for/comment on, the people you've fanned can't unless they're also your fans. Whew! Hope that cleared it up! :P And like I said before, only reading/browsing upon a story doesn't make it show on ANYONE'S news feed. Not even the writer.

Oh, but you can see other people's Reading Lists. Those are public and everyone can see what you have your reading list. :)

Now, these are some of my favorite completed stories on wattpad, with proper grammar haha, yup they're romance :P

Wattpad.. Do you all think,my story is boring?

I rather want to be of some assistance, and be as kind and as constructive as I can. I'm more concerned with what seems to be your desire to give up writing, than the actual contents of your story. However, from skimming through your five page story, I came across a line of romantic words between Alex and Matthew, which struck me as odd. Here are my thoughts on what love means.

I like love stories. They can be powerful, able to inspire the reader to appreciate love, in its gentle kindness, its rightness, and its freedom. Love is the the state of both best maturity and most aliveness.
The best love stories are between two people who when together, are at their most generous and their most compassionate selves. With each other, understanding happens, and each partner feels free to be as they are, and thus, they feel free.
Where some love stories go awry is when they depict two people who are actually less free when together, as in being chained, or as in being incomplete, without the presence of the other. It may seem romantic for two who's worlds consist only of the eyes of the other, but it is not really stable state of being. The world is interesting because it is vast, full or variety, and full of many very good people. It is rather natural for one to turn their eyes towards other things, and other fulfilling relationships, which aren't of romantic nature.
What I'm saying is that your character Alex demanded too much from Matthew and it was rather natural for an ordinary boy to want to do other things than be the object of his lover's world. For this reason, your character Alex has some growing up to do, and if all she does in the story is demand another boy take his place, then there is no character arc, and thus, no story.

I believe that you like to write, and my wish is for you to do what brings you enjoyment. It rather pleases me that you posted your story on Wattpad. At least you created something.

Do you know any good stories to read on wattpad?

The most awesome book I've read on Wattpad is 'Strictly Business'. It's for teenagers, it's not horror and has no 'overly exaggerated sex stories'. Only, it has got nothing supernatural in it...

But I'm telling you it's really great. It's humorous and exciting. Here's a short summary of it on Wattpad:

And, here's the FIRST PAGE OF THE STORY:
