Do You Think It Is Disturbing That In Some Countries 15yrs Old Is Legal Age

How do you feel about underage drinking?

I have 3 kids ages 17, 15 and 12. Both my husband and i are 100% italian and always allowed our kids to have a few sips of wine at dinner since they were little. It's how we were raised and i think because of this, my kids really don't see drinking as something exciting to do. (not saying that drinking wine from a young age is a solution to teens drinking) Therefore, teens drinking in my eyes isn't that big of an issue and would be solved in my house with a talk. Getting drunk out of your mind is a whole other issue and that's what would make me really angry with one of my kids and lead to a harsher punishment.
How do you feel about underaged drinking? Do your feelings differ between seeing your kid drinking and being drunk?

Do you think an arranged marriage between an 11yr male and 10yrs female is blessed by God?

No I don't and I think it is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard of. The parents should be horsewhipped for allowing such a dispicable thing. I personally don't care whether they have both reached puberty or not or what the quran says about it because neither of those children are ready for marriage. This is just one of the many things in Islam that shows it is not a progressive religion nor written for all people for all time. If that were to happen in America those children would now be in the custody of Child Protective Services where they would be kept safe from such ignorant, abusive and neglectful parents.

How far sexually do you think a 14-15 year old should go..?

If very mature and been in a LONG and serious relationship, which is hard to find and commit to at that age, then as far as she wants. As long as she's not a complete idiot.

Everyone will disagree... but meh... I lost mine at 13. lol.
Still with the same guy, so no regrets.

Can a parent legally kick a kid out of the house at 17?

Can they legally, yes with proper proof of an unmanagable child. Which means the courts are already aware of problems. IF there is nothing noted it could be child abandonment, that would have to be proven too, by the child or another adult. Should they is the question. Its difficult for parents who want to discipline a child these days because of our society ills. Your damned if you do damned if you dont. Anyway, I know its easier said then done but there is help out there and I dont know if your the child or the parent, reach out even further than you have perhaps, and you may find a solution. It will affect all of you for the rest of your lives.
The country is pretty much split in the number of states that consider what age a child becomes an adult. 18 is the standard, but as the previous answers mentioned, some states allow this at 17 unless for the reasons I stated above.

What do you adults/seniors think of this generation's Teenage/Young Adult society?

Im 30....so i grew up in the 80s and 90s...

things are alot different now...

I personally feel a bit sorry for this generation, I grew up mostly in the 80-90's and it was so different from what I see now. They don't know what it is to be just a kid. Kids these days are forced to grow up at such an alarming rate. Everyone's oversexed and under dressed. I'm sorry but some of the things I see marketed at young folk, make Britney Spears dancing in a school girl outfit look like Sesame Street. This generation is also quite apathetic as a whole, they don't care about fighting for their fellow man. Everything is so superficial and materialistic, its disgusting. I didn't have a tv in my room until I was 12 and 6 year old;s have cell phones.Since they have so much, it makes them sheltered in weird ways, maybe the whole apathy thing stems from fear or something. Either way I'm fearful for our future as a nation.

clothing is so much more different too... yes back in the 80s and 90s..there were music groups aimed at younger children ,preteens and such..but the stuff that came out as far as clothing was still pretty decent...the clothes now sometimes look like tinier versions of prostitute clothing.

but it also does have to do with how a child is raised these days too...also could be the media's fault...

Why Indian parents don't allow their teenage boy/girl to make girlfriend/boyfriend?

When we talk of parents that they don't allow us to make boyfriends! It's just not only in India even you can see in different foreign countries same thing is taking place. Can I sum up in a word “FEAR”Yeah, it's fear the only difference which took place is Indian parents have different fear and in foreign country it's different.INDIAN PARENTS:Being highly judged about society, they care about their culture a lot, they care about religion (when it goes intercaste), they care about “what will people say?” , They care about “what will we answer to them?” , According to them being a person of value is “ Not marrying a person, you fall in love with or not loving someone”They even think that what we will find will be the best, they are kiddo can't understand people well. We have greyed our hair so we are better at finding wife or husband for them. They think that few boys just use girls, highly negative news in newspapers boys and girls cheating each other are fit in there head so much, that they think if my child is in relationship same things might be going on…Foreign Parents:They think that relationships spoils career, they want there child to grow up and could marry the one he likes only after he is an adult. You can't walk on both the roads while preparing for your career you need to focus on your career, you can have your relationships after you are independent.“Insecurity, fear, love” This all lead to deny them and being suspicious if they have a bf or gfSource: Caption writings  (@lastwords.__) • Instagram photos and videos

Hey parents, do you ever let your kids sit on your lap while driving and let them steer?

Yes but only on the dirt road that leads from my parents house (out in the country) to their cow pasture. My boys love to go "drive" with pa-pa to feed the cows their treats. I used to panic and get angry when my dad did this but I'm okay with it now. The only thing that they could hit or could hit them is a cow, lol. It was the same place they let me "drive" and also where I learned to drive as a teenager.
