My parents think im lazy and think its so easy to get a job!?
Im 19 my parents think im lazy just because i sit in my room the whole day, i live in a small town where family members hire family and or they are on a hiring freeze (aka not hiring at all). My parents think its SO easy to just walk out with a really good resume, hand them out every so often and you will get hired just like that, when they fail to realize that NO ONE IS HIRING. They think its because i sit in my room on my computer or on my tv that that's the reason why im not getting hired. Not only that but i live in a small town where there is hardly anything, gas prices are high so i cant get a job in the next town, our family has only one car that and both my parents work. My step dad also isn't helping by saying that i wont get my own room, a new laptop which i would pay for myself and i need desperately, until i get a job. How can i make them realize this because they are still living in the dream that everyone hires left and right, what can i do?
Why do Indians mark everything up 500% ??
First off I am not a racist. Also I am not talking about native americans. But its a fact and I have no interest in being politcally correct. I just went to buy a 12 pack of soda at the local convenience store which is owned and operated by an indian. It was 3 times as much as the convenience store 2 miles down the road owned and operated by a caucasian. naturally I drove the 2 miles. Indians seem to own about 75% of the convenience stores and hotels in my state and without fail they all charge much more than businesses owned by any other ethnic groups and i just dont understand that. If i am racist for noticing a FACT and questioning it..... so be it. A) Why do Indians own such a large percentage of convenience stores and hotels? B) Why do literally ALL of them consistantly charge so much more than non-Indian owned businesses? ***** Among the expected "racist pig" slams.... I hope to get an answer. Why such a huge percentage? Is there government aid involved?
