Do you think men should have the right to vote on women's issues? Why/Why not?
The rationale for this question leads us to this logical conclusion: no one should be allowed to vote on “issues” that don’t affect their “group”, only “within group” people should be allowed to vote on issues that appear to solely affect their “identity group(s)”. But, let’s get real, this question is really about abortion, isn’t it, and saying men should have no say at all when it comes to abortion.Men should not be allowed to vote on “women’s issues” ONLY if women are not allowed to vote on “men’s issues”, that is the only fair, just, and equal thing to have happen in the US.That means women should not be allowed to vote on any paternity issue, since maternity is a women’s issue, some feel men should not be allowed to vote on. Using this rationale, only men should be able to vote on their paternal rights and paternal custody rights and laws. After all, the “lump of fetal tissue”, once expelled and allowed to live by the owner of the uterus, is genetically/biologically 1/2 the father.Women should not be able to vote on whether or not to have the right to decide for a living male expelled “lump of fetal tissue”, if it gets circumcised. Men should be the only ones allowed to vote on that “male issue”, since this is clearly a male issue that women should have no say over.Men’s reproductive rights must be considered completely equal to the female’s reproductive rights.Therefore, only men can vote when it comes to demanding the government pay for a surrogate to carry their “lump of fetal tissue” if they are unable to find a uterus owning partner, so they have equal rights to women to have an expelled living “fetal tissue” of their own.Just as women, in this scenario should be the only ones to vote on whether or not the government pays for their reproductive right to remove a “lump of fetal tissue”, if they don’t want it to live.My answer is:No one should be excluded from the right to vote on any issue that affects citizens of ones nation/state/locality.Where do we stop?Black people can’t vote on “white issues”,or gay people can’t vote on “heterosexual issues”,white people can’t vote on “people of color issues”,law abiding citizens can’t vote on “criminal issues”.Well, liberalism’s guiding ideology is deeply steeped in separating/dividing people into groups; which liberals say are not able to fully understand groups they do not identify with. They are probably afraid to get too involved with you because your daughter adds the possibility of an additional heart being broken if your relationship doesnt work out. I think that they are afraid that your daughter will complicate a new relationship. It just means that you haven't found the right one yet - The right one will love and cherish your daughter as much as you do.

I'm a feminist, and I would be offended if it had stayed "Bring Your Daughters to Work Day". There is no reason that girls should have a privilege over boys to go to their parent's(parents') work.

I have some strong opinions on this. I heard men shouldn't spank their daughters because It would show girls that it's okay for men they love to hit them. But that is stupid and retarded. There is nothing wrong with a man spanking his daughters. That like saying do you think girls should spank their sons. My ex girlfriend won’t let me see my 3 year old daughter?
So I’m a 22 year old man and i have a great steady job right now. Anyways I have a 3 year old daughter by my ex girlfriend, we’ve been broken up for about 4 months now. Anyways since we’ve been broken up, she has moved in with her cousin and took my daughter along with her as well. Ever since she left my apartment, she has been ignoring my phone calls, I’m trying to get in touch with her because I want to see our daughter. It’s almost as if she’s trying to keep my daughter away from me. And btw I am a very good dad..I buy my daughters clothes..provide her with love, I take her to the park..I just do normal parent stuff. Do you guys think I should take my ex to court? Most certainly “providing he’s a decent person”, there can be many advantages to his age.Guys don’t mature as quick as girls.In late teens and early 20’s boys (generally speaking) are still learning who they are, what they stand for and “often” fighting an internal battle with their testosterone.By age 28 a man should have a reasonable idea where he wants to go in life, and his personality and character are a good indication of “who he Really is”.Sure the age difference feels large when your daughter is 18, but in reality a 10 year difference is often a good thing in so many ways.I met my ex wife when she was 19 and I was a reasonably mature 29. Her mother once told me that I had brought their daughter back to them… she was very head strong and wouldn't listen to anyone until me. In the early days I was sort of a mediator between my gf and her mother.Be careful please… many years ago I worked for a family business which had been started by the father but was run by his children. One of the daughters worked in the business.She was in her 50’s, attractive, well kept and a really nice lady, a good catch. But she never seemed to date or have any love interest… she was basically a spinster.This was a little confusing until one time the father who was retired and in his 70’s opened up and admitted he had made a serious mistake. At 18 his daughter fell in love with an older man, but he forbid her to see him.She abided by her fathers wishes and always remained loyal to him, but it broke her heart and she never took another man. She lived with her father and looked after him until he passed.This man was a charitable person, he achieved a lot of success and recognition in his life, but stated that he’d gladly pass up on all of it if he could undo the disservice he’d bestowed on his daughter as a young women.Being protective of our children is expected, but being over protective could destroy their lives.

Calm down before doing anything. That’s a very heavy situation, and you need to think clearly.Your daughter may or may not be telling the truth. That is reality. Your daughter may often be truthful but may be angry and resentful, wishing to say something that would be hurtful.Is your wife so careless that if she were indeed to sleep with someone, that she would allow your daughter to know? I don’t know your family but find that troublesome and less than credible.It would be good for you to calmly talk to your wife, tell her that this is what your daughter said, and listen to her. I think she will be upset and angry, and you have known your wife for many, many years, and should know when she is truthful.If your wife lets you know that this didn’t happen, I think you, she and your daughter must immediately begin family therapy. There would be some serious issues to sort through, more than you could manage alone.If your wife lets you know that it’s true, then you and she have to talk about the effect on your daughter, your marriage, how this happened, and still the three of you must work through this in family therapy, even if it seems that the marriage can’t be saved.I know that troubled teens lie, terrible lies. More teens would keep the secret, I think, not wanting to cause trouble in the family.This is very disturbing and I wish you peace, patience and understanding. This is terrible.
