Do You Think Mexico Would Be Better Off Under Fascism

Fascism vs communism?

Well, first of all, what the Soviet Union had under Stalin and until it ultimately collapsed, was not Communism in the true sense but Socialism.

Fascism is a system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

Socialism is any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy. It is the stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved.

Basically, Communism is system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.

Communism, as a system is simply ridiculous. By its own rules, it is not a classless system as is being claimed. There are clearly two classes; the ruling class and everyone else. The concept of collective ownership of everything by everyone basically means ownership by the ruling class. The biggest flaw with both systems is the lack of human rights or respect for individual liberty.

But to directly answer your question, the difference between Fascism and Communism or Socialism is the racism. Fascism has the added element of racial superiority.

Why do certain people love fascism?

Fascism always seems to arise after a long period of widespread suffering among a class of people who were formerly successful in a society. These people have lost power, or even the ability to maintain their standards of living. Think about the German people after World War 1, or the under-employed white working class in America today.Eventually, a charismatic figure comes along who tells them that none of this is their fault. The blame for their suffering lies with some easily-identifiable group of outsiders (Jews, Mexicans, Muslims) who are committing crimes. The leader promises to crack down on the outsiders (bad hombres) by strictly enforcing the law and by implementing new ones. Only he can restore the suffering masses to their rightful place in the society, and return the country to its former glory. This is exactly what the suffering masses want to hear, because according to Pavlov’s Law, when things go poorly people want both:Simplistic explanationsScapegoatsFascists provide both, as well as a strongman to fix these problems. It is no coincidence that fictional superheroes tend to rise at the same times in history as fascism. People believe that they have lost control of their lives, and they want strong heroes to return to them what is “rightfully” theirs, be it job security, wealth, power or truth, justice and the American Way. Hi-ho, Silver! Okay, I think I mixed some metaphors there.

What would happen if the USA became fascist?

Great question. It is interesting to speculate what would have happened to Germany (the most cultured, logical and scientific people in Europe) if they embraced the Jews, did not try to expand their territory in Europe and RUSSIA!, and just stuck to improving their country.Does fascism require these provably (historically) negative moves? Did the depression that followed WW I bring Hitler to power. Did Hitler’s madness cause the whole thing? The argument will go on forever.Remember the famous Dave Barry comment: “When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is crazy.”

Are mexican drug cartels more powerful than terrorist groups like al queda and isis?

Mexican drug cartels are comparatively as wealthy and powerful as ISIS. The main reason the U.S. government has not sent our military into Mexico is because none of the cartels have attacked the U.S. on a 9-11 type scale. If that happened, then the U.S. would most assuredly go to war with the cartels in Mexico. This would also drive crude oil prices sky high again. It's not that the cartels are any less powerful than ISIS, al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbola, the Mujahadeen, etc, it's that these Mexican drug cartels have not launched a salvo on the U.S. on the same scale as 9-11.

In addition, the ideology of the cartels is much different than that of Islamo-fascist terrorist organizations. Mexican drug cartels "need" American drug addicts in order to make money, whereas Islamo-fascist organizations want all non-Muslim Americans dead. The cartels don't care what your religion is as long as you buy their drugs and keep them in business.

Was Mexico involved in World War Two?

mexico had a very minor combat role in WW2, however they were one of the Allies and supported mainly the US in their combat initiatives.

Mexico was an important country for the US to ally with because had they gone to the Axis regime, it would have been an ideal location for japan to stage a land invasion against the US. Mexico was politically unstable during WW2, having just had a controversial presidential election in 1940, and so there was also the grim prospect of their goverment overturning into pro-fascists or pro-communists, which would not have fared well for the Allies. It was thus important for the US to maintain close diplomatic relations with the fledgling country, and during the WW2 years the US-Mexican relationship was a good one...a stark contrast to the previous 20 years of uneasyness between the neighbors. It wasn't until Axis forces sank a mexican oil tanker in 1942 did the country officially declare war against the Axis.

Mexico's primary contribution to the war effort was in the supply of raw resources...in fact over 40% of raw materials used by the US was supplied by Mexico. The US also trained Mexican air pilots who saw action in the Phillipines against Japan. Additionally, many Mexican citizens came to the US to serve in the army and were granted citizenship for their devotion to the Allied cause, though many chose to return to their native country following the end of the war.

Do you think the tear gassing of migrants at the border is sign of increasing facism in America? Why or why not?

NOPE. I think Facism is the “new and improved left wing cool word”. They have to have catchy words like that so their “intellectual elite” constituency will have something that “sounds” intellectual. I don’t believe 99.4% have a clue what the definition of facism actually is but, fear not their anti-American Leadership will clue them in on their version. I Remember vividly when my parents Bought World Book Encyclopedia how excited I was at 9 to be getting SO much information…I would read the annual cover to cover when it came. Now kids depend on a person on a t.v. that hates their country to tell them what to think. It is beyond sad. A college professor that equates cool with being a SJW…Such B.S. People that want to take advantage of opportunity in this country don’t need a “failure” running interference. A competent Professor is into his/her Subject Matter not the latest “cool” social movement. Our country needs “cool social movements” like Earthquakes and Floods. Young people if you want to be cool…Be a really good professional at your chosen field of expertise…Be a good Engineer, Accountant, M.D… People that spend their time doing FECES like that are not good at their chosen profession…they’re not curing cancer, they’re re-inventing the wheel…AND they are Certainly NOT competent Educators.!!

What is something you find VERY annoying in hoi4?

Peace ConferencesI swear to god this is broken. Alright. I played a game where I was France. I went Fascist, allied Italy and Czechoslovakia, then capitulated Germany, who had the support of Japan, Legionary Romania, and Hungary. So Germany lost the war by 1941 because of me, but the Allies were fighting Germany too. The Brits kept the Germans from annexing Belgium and the Netherlands immediately. They started folding and I didn't want to give the Germans an inch so I went to their aid and pushed the Germans back. In the 1941 conference, the Allies immediately liberated Poland. I annexed almost all of Germany and kept the eastern bit as a buffer state between me and the poles, who were becoming Soviet because the Allies declared war on Yugoslavia when they were in the Axis, then they joined the comintern so now the Allies and Comintern are at war. But the Soviets are refusing to push into Poland. But I digress. I brought Germany down, I should get dibs. but no. Factions who were in a separate war get to decide my victory for me.I declared war on the Allies in 1942. I didn't realize America had completed waking the giant. I goofed hard. But I invaded Great Britain and beat them in 2 months. It was a bad idea. The Americans immediately dropped 32 divisions in Poland and the Brits had 57 hiding out in Yugoslavia.Unconditional SurrenderIt exists. I promise you, but not in HoI4. It's so annoying. Let's say you're Argentina. You declare war on the UK for the Falklands and South Georgia. You take the islands. But now you have to take London to just get the two islands you have claims on. It's shit.ParatroopersAny Isorrowproductions fan knows the hidden power of paratroopers. I once almost beat France as the Netherlands because of Paratroopers.(I was 3 small towns short of French Capitulation. That's OP.All I have time for today. Some other minor problems, like production and air battles but they're minor.Bonan Tagon!
