Do You Think My Song Could Be A Number One

Who sings that reggae song "I want to be your number one", its a female singer..who is it ??

well it sounds like Blondie's "The Tide is High".

the tide is high, but i'm holding on, i'm gonna be your number one

could be a remake of Blondie though

Could I stream a song on a continuous loop to get it to number 1 in the UK chart?

I think the streaming service would see what you’re doing and intervene. Also, you’d have to hope that literally ever other artist in the world with a large fanbase wouldn’t be releasing something that day. I actually looked this up one time to try it on spotify. I thought I could build an algorithm to allow my song to hit the 30 second mark (the amount of time necessary to count as a play) and replay it on a continuous loop. I calculated out the amount of money I’d make from a year of doing this and I think it came out to $12 or something ridiculously low and not worth the effort. It did give me a good chuckle though.

What song was number one on the Billboard charts the week you were born?

"Sunshine Superman" by Donovan hit number one the day I was born. (Well, it hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the issue dated as of my date of birth. No doubt the chart was released before I emerged.)I do have a minor fun story to tell…I once was driving to work on my birthday, and heard my birthday mentioned on two different radio stations! It helped that I was a radio DJ myself at the time. One of the stations was the one I worked for, and a listener with whom I was friendly called in on the show before me to request a birthday song for me, and for herself. (I don't remember exactly, but her birthday was either the same day or within a day or two of mine.) Also during the trip, a competing oldies station played a "today in oldies history" segment mentioning "Sunshine Superman" hitting number one. The jock on that staton was (and is) a friend of mine, and he mentioned that he had a friend who had mentioned being born on the date that song came out (but didn't, of course, mention that I worked fir the classic rock station!). It was a nice experience.

There's a I think 80's song that I need to know who sings it and the title of it. Please help me.?

I think it goes something like this,
The night is young and I'm moving on,
I'm going to be your number one,
I'm not that kind of girl whos xx xx like that, oh no oh

the night is young and I'm moving on
I'm going to be your number one,
number one,
number one.

Thank you to any one that can help.

What does "One is the loneliest number" song mean?

like an analysis or where i could find one.

lyrics:
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do
Two can be as bad as one
It's the loneliest number since the number one

"No" is the saddest experience you'll ever know
Yes, it's the saddest experience you'll ever know
'Cause one is the loneliest number that you'll ever do
One is the loneliest number, whoa, worse than two

It's just no good anymore since you went away
Now I spend my time just making rhymes of yesterday
One is the loneliest number
One is the loneliest number
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do
One is the loneliest, one is the loneliest
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do

It's just no good anymore since you went away

Number
One is the loneliest
Number
One is the loneliest
Number
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do
(Repeat in various forms)

How much money can an artist make with a number one record?

I'm going to answer this as How much money CAN an artist make...So to maximise profit we'll assume the artist in question isn't signed to a label and their number one is in the Billboard Hot 100.Let's assume they have just beaten Katy Perry's California Gurls (highest sales over one week was roughly 318,000 units) to no. 1, we could say we've sold 320,000 singles. We only need to sell over the period of one week to achieve no. 1 status. Assuming the track is sold at $0.99 that's $316,800 gross profit. There has to be duplication and distribution costs which would usually be around 20% so that brings us to around $253440.A signed artist would earn a fraction of this through single sales alone, but would earn a LOT more money through associated album sales, singles sales over more than one weeks time, sponsorships, merchandise etc. This is a totally unrealistic case study, but it's hard to create an accurate one due to the varying terms included in most record deals.

The number one question is how could you ignore it?

And drop right back in the cut, over basement tracks with raps that got you backin' this up like rewind that, and just rollin' with the rhythm, rise from the ashes of stylistic division, with these non-stop, lyrics of life livin', not to be forgotten but still unforgiven. But in the meantime there are those who wanna talk this and that, so I suppose that it gets to a point when feelings gotta get hurt, and get dirty with the people spreadin' the dirt it goes

Try to give you warning but everyone ignores me, told you everything loud and clear but nobody's listening. Call to you so clearly but you don't want to hear me, told you everything loud and clear but nobody's listening.

That was all from memory. Goddamn I love Linkin Park <3
