Do You Think Tea Party People Should Be Allowed To Post Truthful Videos On The Internet About

History of China: Is it dangerous for people in China to talk about Tiananmen Square Massacre on Quora?

Not even a little bit. When I was on exchange to Chengdu we had a lot of spare days to explore the city. One time, I met up with some classmates and their local buddy Jean-Pierre to go for classic back alley noodles. For context, here is the alley:No comments necessary since the restaurant looks about the same:That’s Jean-Pierre on the right.Anyway, we were enjoying our noodles around a table in the middle of the alley when we got on to the topic of what Sichuan was known for.Someone said ‘Spicy Food!’ and pointed to her noodles.Someone else added ‘Pretty girls!’, explaining that his Chinese friends from other provinces kept insisting the locals were all gorgeous.A third person, who’d seen some photos of him around, offered ‘Deng Xiaoping!’Jean-Pierre immediately declared ‘I don’t like him! He was against the students at Tiananmen.’We all suddenly felt pretty awkward. None of us really wanted to start criticising a foreign government while we were visiting, and had no idea what to say. So the person who had suggested Deng Xiaoping tried to change topics to economic reforms…and mentioned Zhao Ziyang.Jean-Pierre immediately said ‘I like him… he was with the students’.Now, I have to be honest: if someone told me this story I might not believe it. Most Chinese are nowhere near this political and wouldn’t bring it up out of nowhere. But Jean-Pierre worked with the university and like a lot of Chinese academics is pretty passionately political. So in short, no. It’s not dangerous to discuss Tiananmen Square. Not in a back alley, and not in public. Not if you’re Chinese and not if you’re foreign.I once explained what happened to a westerner who had never heard of the protests. While we were in Tiananmen Square. In front of police. And then they asked their friend who also didn’t know in a hotel hallway.Nobody cares so long as you’re not advocating action. It’s not a secret. The details are debated[1] and terms relating to it are blocked around the anniversary but you’re otherwise free to discuss it in small groups. And if the Chinese government isn’t bothered by what you say at home, they especially don’t care what you say on an overseas website. What threat do the few thousand who use Quora pose? Most Chinese have moved on anyway.Don’t run a protest or public memorial and don’t call for the overthrow of the government and the worst that will happen is a deleted post.Footnotes[1] Tiananmen Square massacre_百度搜索

Not to be racist... but what is that game that black people always play with the dice and how do you play it?

They're playing street craps. Think of it as a stripped-down version of casino craps, where you only get the pass, don't pass, come and don't come bets.

There's also Cee-lo. You can tell the difference by the number of dice--the shooter will have 3 instead of the 2 used for craps. Also, all players are playing against each other instead of making bets based on one shooter.

Does Anderson Cooper of CNN have the most intelligent and unbiased political show?

I find him very intelligent and unbiased.
Unlike even others on CNN and the other cable networks, he doesn't have to shout or make condescending remarks about those he doesn't necessarily like or support in order to please his viewing audience.

(However, I don't watch tv very often and when I do it is mostly to catch up on the news. (Yahoo News btw is oftentimes a day late in its reporting. Actually so are the "breaking news" sites here on line)

The weekend programming on the cable networks lack substance. The weekends bring sports and a re-cap of the weeks so-called news, while Sundays in particular, bring together the so-called political 'experts' who simply appear to not only take apart the past weeks' political news, but to 'take apart' other journalists/reporters, etc.

How can I continue my political YouTube channel without risking alienating potential employers?

I'll be perfectly honest with you: I never put my birth name on any Internet account, and especially not one which involves politics, religion, or sex. I have seen the problems first-hand that come with that (doxxing, stalking, straight up murdering) and I want no part of it.If you wouldn't bring up your political positions at your graduation or a friends birthday party, don't connect it to you online. It's pretty simple. If you're worried about potential employers finding your channel and judging you for it, that may be the price you pay for hubris. If you honestly need an Internet audience with whom to promote your ideology, keep the channel in your name. But, since you seem to be aware that such soapboxing could possibly reflect negatively on you in real life if seen by someone outside of your intended audience, then either take down your channel or wipe as much identifying info from it as possible. You may not be aware of just how many conservatives and libertarians are in the tech industry. While they tend to be pretty open-minded about employees’ personal beliefs, one of the major things they look for is the potential employees ability to fit into their company dynamic. which means getting along with many different people all at the same time.Alt-right and xenophobes generally need not apply.

What does "spilling the true tea" means?

"tea" is an old term for "gossip", which came from the idea of what goes on at a tea party. "Tea party" is an old term for a "gossip fest", and "spilling tea" means accidentally( on purpose) dropping an irresistible tidbit of gossip. "True tea" would still be gossip, but the gossiper believes they have the true story.
