Why are there so many trolls on Yahoo Answers?
My daughter was playing with the kitchen knives and she accidentally impaled herself with one. I need to stop the bleeding, but I feel rude just submitting such a poor response. The blood is flowing like a river, I need to do something... after I submit this answer I will slowly walk over the first aid cupboard, maybe get some bandages for her. Ooops! I banged my toe on the kitchen table, I must rest for a few seconds... now, why is my daughter just lying there lifeless? Only one way to find out... after I finish my sandwiches!

Think out of the box when it comes to dates. Do things that are unexpected and fun. You want her to feel like when she’s with you anything is possible. Also, get to know the owners of small restaurants and business. When your date is known by the people in the establishment, it feels more like you’re being invited into his inner circle. Just be aware that there’s a fine line between being impressive and showing off. Make sure that you make your date feel like you’re inviting her in and sharing instead of being a douche. It all goes back to intentions.
Why are there so many trolls on yahoo answers?
For example, I know there is a specific catigory that gets trolled. So I posted a question in that catigory, and then posted that question again in a different catigory. The catigory that has trolls in it, got many rude and unhelpful answers. The other catigory, got truthful and yahoo answer style answers. Why are there so many trolls? Why do they cling onto a specific question catigory??
It used to be a useful site at one point but pretty much degraded itself into being home of a million immature morons who are trying too hard to be edgy, and it pretty much just seems like it’s to us what Ebaum’s is to Youtube. Whether or not this is intentional (which it probably isn’t, or probably in the case of ED/Combusting Herpes and similar sites that are trying to be ‘satirical’ or even sites centered around A-Logging, it probably is but it’s disguised as satire) is anyone’s guess though.
What do you think about boycotting the Trolls and Yahoo for deleting Ipek's condolences question?
Y! Answers and trolls weren't fair and respectful in Ipek Abla's time and they're still not. That's why I left here. And it's probably the last question I'll answer. So I won't talk about protesting, I know that it won't make everything ok, bring the good old time..and Ipek Abla back. I just want to write something to Ipek Abla with tears now. I hope they'll allow this, at least. Dear Ipek Abla, I don't remember how many years passed, 3 or 4? I was a little girl, the little sweet girl of Y! Answers Turkish "family". You were one of the first people I met. You were so friendly, caring, understanding and funny! I'd chosen you as "the funniest person on Y! Answers" in one question, remember? Even your answers to the trolls were funny, maybe that's why I consider those times as "golden times" in spite of the trolls. But they exhausted you the most. Anyway, they shouldn't be in this message.. Then our family extended; Turkish or Greek no matter, you were friends with all of them. I remember that I adored you. I was thinking: "Wow look at how full of life she is! Everyone loves her. She is one of the best people I know!" Years passed and your little sweet girl grew up. Most of us, including me, started to get in here less because of increased troll attacks. But we have never lost our family chains. If there are at least 10 people who are sad for you, if I'm crying for you at the moment; it's because we lost our mother, sibling, friend etc. Now I clearly see that you were the biggest part of our spirit. Before I got hooked to Quora I was an active user of Yahoo Answers too. There was a time when Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (ex President of India) asked a question about improving the nation and leaders from all walks of life gave their opinion. All on Yahoo Answers. But as you have explained the site is getting worse. There are multiple reasons for it. I can think of a few :Content Moderation is clearly very bad. Quora has an excellent content moderation. Non helpful answers are collapsed, question titles are automatically edited, inappropriate questions are taken down, questions are flagged as needing improvements, etc. All this unknown in Yahoo Answers. Atleast it's not as good as Quora. Yahoo Answers failed at giving me good content to read. It was filled with useless questions.User account moderation is equally important. There are just too many fake accounts on Yahoo Answers. Accounts with no real identity. Many people possess more than 1 account. Most of the accounts don't even have a picture or any real info associated with it. There is no strict policy regarding fake accounts. I have tried reporting users who were polluting the community but hardly any actions were taken.There is no way of knowing if the person answering the question is really an expert on this area. Usually I have to look up a person via search engine in order to truly verify that he can be trusted. Here on quora I can read the person's bio and get an idea about his expertise in this area.Some old content is still good. I often find useful answers once in a while. It is Yahoo's responsibility to provide their users with engaging content. And I hardly use Yahoo answers anymore. They suck. Period.
It used to be a good site overall, there were some trolls, spammers, and some bored kids too lazy to google. But there was a core of decent people helping to moderate/control them (given moderation was 99% user controlled). Or at least trying to (since it was always an uphill battle).THEN yahoo started making unnecessary changes……. they changed the layout of the site, the basic function of the site, and everything just went downhill from there. A lot of people (including the core group of violation reporters) got fed up of it being to difficult to use and left. Allowing the trolls, kids, and spammers to take over with no real consequence from yahoo. To help them take over, yahoo’s reporting system broke down a lot, so the few decent people left (like me) couldn’t do anything but watch the undesirable material pile up on the site…. especially when the trolls figured out when the reporting function wasn’t working.So after a while it really got to a point where there were too few users trying to moderate it and where it felt like yahoo had all but abandoned the site. So a lot of the last few decent people on the site gave up. So now it is a completely useless site for questions, and is more something trolls and little kids use to pass the time.But as to what I think of it overall, having spent a lot of time on there before coming to Quora, I used to like it, however the current version is a troll/little kid filled MESS that is OUT OF CONTROL to the point it’s only a matter of time until yahoo shuts it down like they have other branches/sections of their website.And when they do my only concern will be if all the undesirables on there will then come HERE! I feel like they might all ready be migrating as I have noticed a sharp increase in useless/vague/TLTG questions on here, just in the year or so I’ve been on here.So if that’s the case I hope Quora moderation is more up to the task than yahoo “moderation” ever was.

i think of its exciting to actual their minds. whats up, trolls do have a heart, suggestions and issues too. they are everywhere in actual life and we do would desire to handle them continuously.
