Do You Think There Will Be Any Medical Problems In The United States After Obamacare Is Fully

What do you think about Obamacare?

There are mixed opinions about it. Some think it is ruining the country. Others think it shows how much Obamacares about us. Thanks to Obamacare insurance companies can't deny you coverage for whatever reason. Everyone can now have health insurance. So do you think Obamacare is a good or bad thing? And why?

What good will Obamacare do?

We got the negatives:
-You face a penalty if you don't buy health insurance

What are the positives?
There's no public option.
No medicare-buy-in.

What are the positives?

Why do people hate Obamacare?

Reason No. 1: They don't understand it.
Reason No. 2: The right cares only about their own interests, not those who don't have access to health care or are screwed by insurance companies.
Reason No. 3: They hate anything Obama is for.

Why do Republicans want to Repeal Obamacare?

It's Obama's signature legislation. It would be quite a feather in their cap if they could tarnish the Obama legacy w/ a successful repeal.
It doesn't matter to the reps that millions more people have health insurance now. They want to burn down the ACA and return back to the same failed system that prompted the legislation. It doesn't matter to the reps the ACA was approved by the Supreme Court. As is typical rep style, they are unable to let go and move on. They should be working to improve the ACA.
They should be pointing their fingers at gwb who had 8 yrs. to approach the problem w/ the right wing flavor ... he did nothing.
The problem of unaffordable health care didn't sneak up. The Clinton admin tried to tackle it but couldn't get enough rep support.

"Obamacare has led to health coverage for millions more people
At least 9.5 million previously uninsured people have gotten health insurance since Obamacare started, surveys and reports show.
March 30, 2014"

"Already sluggish health-care inflation is expected to slow down even more in 2014 as consumers, employers and the federal government continue looking to cut medical costs, a new report said Tuesday."

Do you have a pre-existing medical condition that would prevent you from obtaining reasonably priced healthcare if the ACA/Obamacare is dismantled by the Trump administration?

I am on dialysis. Almost everyone on dialysis qualifies for either medicare or medicaid. Normally, people have a small copay. But I also served and retired from the Navy, so I have Tricare for life. I almost never see a bill, and treatment can run a couple thousand per week.If you are severely disabled from many illnesses, you get covered. The list of chronic diseases which put you in automatic coverage is large. It is available from their website.https://medicare.com/coverage/do...The presumption is that Republicans want to take away pre-existing conditions coverage. That is not so. They want to keep the popular parts of Obamacare, not remove employer plans, but make it affordable and to build in competition and choice. This makes the whole thing quite complex, because coverage for pre-existing condidtions is both popular and expensive. The solution might be to make anyone denied by insurance for a pre-existing condition eligible for Medicare, as long as they pay for the whole (or partial) cost up to normal retirement, or if they become disabled. There is talk of some kind of subsidy for those in poverty. Another solution is to retain the prohibition of pre-existing conditions, as thst actually is a cheaper solution.Currently, that is the situation. So the difference would not be felt.
