I was wondering because I was gonna buy a beach tshirt I really liked, but my friend who doesn't like anime said I would look stupid and need to grow up. I feel like I can't be myself or else ill be judged and feel self conscious.... Do you wear anime apparel? Do your friends approve? & do u get made fun of?? :/

you shouldn't worry whether it's childish or not do YOU like graphic tees? if you do, wear them if you're still worried, why don'tt you wear something more general on your first day of high school? see what others are wearing, if people are wearing graphic tees, then you have nothing to worry about chances are, a lot of other kids are wondering the same thing, so just be yourself! just so you know, i think graphic tees are cool!
Why do people tease others about liking anime?
Wow this is very long 8D LOL but all is good...usually my answers are long too! :D Anyways, people are different. Those type of people who put down other people because of their differences in appearance or interest are just fools. I like anime and im 17....hahaha!! Was raised watching it. All my friends know i like it, and they are all ok with it. Some of the students in my school know of it, yet they think its stupid too! But, if you have a strong interest in something, them it'll be great to stand up to your belief. But not to the extent of an argument and suspension, LOL. Just ignore them, can carry on with their work. As long as you are not one of those people who surround their whole entire life based around anime (i.e. be the character 24/7, speak like them, dress like them etc) then you will be fine. So really, dont worry! :D oh, im a girl too...and i LOVE Yugioh (original)!!! >W< Tokyo Mew Mew to me is a rip off of Sailormoon, hence i dont like it. I love Sailormoon too...~ hahaha~
