I think that lip rings are really hot on people from 17 to around 25, but they don't look good when a person is much older. I don't like facial pericings on people much younger and depending on where you live, some places might not perice, even with parental apprval for someone much younger. For girls, I think that a stud is cuter. To really pull off a ring, you have to have a bad a** look to begin with. I don't have one because they will effect your ablity to get a professional job. I did have an eyebrow ring and had to get rid of it for my current job, which you would likely have to do if you got the peircing.
