Good grief. You harm a good friendship by not taking the time to actually talk to someone who you supposedly care about, and now you’re just going to make it worse by TEXTING?!!! Really? Your actions said that obviously she doesn’t matter much to you because you didn’t take the time (and also didn’t have the integrity) to do what you said you would. Gee, I wonder why she’s mad? All you can do now is TALK to her. Call her up, apologize profusely, and promise never, ever, to make such a mistake again — then mean it. Offer a meet-up, or a hang-out day, or something real. Texts do not a friendship feed.

My boyfriend and I go to school together, and today I hugged my friend because it was the end of the day. Well, my boyfriend watched and now he is mad at me and won't talk to me. I don't think that hugging other guys is wrong, is it?? He gets mad at me a lot and I'm kinda getting tired of it. Like at the last period of the day, he gets mad and won't talk to me and he does it everyday!! What should I do about it? The bad news is they still behave like this in there fifties. My life partner does this too, and he is 52 and a Doctor, so you would think he could communicate better. Most men just clam up, women talk and fight it out, resolve it and usually move on. I reccomend you give him some space then in a few days, ask him out for a coffee date, and say what you need to say IN A SHORT, EXECT SIMPLE manner; such as "I know you are mad, I am sorry, I did not mean to hurt you" then see his response, and if it's anything other then him wanting to break up then you can say" "what can I do to make it up to you?" and take it from there. Don't get stressed out, really. Take care.

My best guy-friend is really mad at me and he wont tell me why. I tried talk to him on AIM and I asked him if he was mad at me and when he didn't answer I just said 'hello?' a few times and he wouldn't reply until like 15 mins later he says "Let me know when you want to talk to me like a real person." And I got really scared so I said " Please tell me what I did wrong?? I'm sorry i'd never want to do anything to hurt you I hope you know that." He just went offline after that. I've been thinking for hours on what I might have done to hurt him...but I can't come up with anything we didn't get in a fight or anything every thing seemed fine. =( I just don't understand it. So i've been trying to text him and e-mail him and he wont reply even though I know he's been online. I asked if we could talk on the phone tonight and he said 'no i'm busy' but he can't be that busy he's been on facebook all night. And again I tried asking him on facebook what I did wrong and he still just ignores me. =( I'm so scared I lost him!! I don't know what to do please help me?? How can I get him to talk to me?? He's done this before he gets pretty sensitive over things...but he seems really upset...what should I do? I don't know if it helps any but i'm 14 and he's 16. =( Thanks.
