Do you think life is fair?

God does not create evil; he allows it to occur. When he originally created the world, he created all things good. He created people, however, with the freedom to choose. This includes the freedom to make right and wrong choices. Often those wrong choices bring about consequences that end up hurting ourselves or other people, sometimes innocent victims who didn't deserve it. God could intervene and control everything about our lives -- the good and the bad -- but then we would merely be robots and not truly free. He could even force us to love him if he wanted, but then forced love isn't true love. He gives us the freedom to choose or not to choose him, the freedom to live and enjoy life, and the freedom to make right and wrong choices. Unfortunately, we are left to deal with the consequences of our own and other people's actions.

When do you think life is fair?

I think this question can be seen through a tangential question: “Why do bad things happen to good people, and how is that fair?”There really is no “fair” in the world. Hard working deserving people lose their pensions to corporate fraud, dedicated parents lose their children to a genetic predilection to cancer. And that's not fair. But, for everything lost you always get something in return. Maybe it's a lesson learned, like never to put all your eggs in one basket. Maybe something dark and horrible happens to you, but you gain a perspective on life and the ability to empathize with other people who have been through similar ordeals. The world can be clearly unfair, but it works in a one-for-one exchange. Call it conservation of energy or call it karma, or whatever. But for everything you lose you will gain something back. In that way life is fair in count, not in magnitude. Who knows why it's that way.

Do you think the tax you are paying is fair?

The honest truth (and largely unspoken) is nobody thinks tax is fair, whatever the level. Tax is theft, as the old saying goes.So that leaves only one reality:— How tolerable the tax we are paying, and the answer for most people in my experience is “tolerable for now.”

On a scale of 1-10, how fair do you think life is?

Its subjective. You think life is unfair because someone less deserving got what you wanted? We have a tendency to compare ourselves with others. We plan our lives according to how others are living. And when we are not able to pull that off, this inferiority makes us think whether life is fair to us or not. You actually don’t know the story of the person who is more successful than you and yet you make judgements that life is unfair. And the successful ones, they don’t care whether life is fair or not, they just keep working till they get what they want. They don’t whine about life being unfair.Stop wasting time thinking whether life is fair or not, because even if you come to know that it isn’t, you have already wasted your time and you are screwed.

Do you think God is fair to everyone? If not, why?

I know some people deny the existence of a just God because there is evil and suffering in the world. There may or may not be a just God but the presence of evil doesn’t prove it either way.Let’s take your question about a fair God. Suppose tomorrow God is going to give half the people in the world 1 million dollars and the other half 999 thousand dollars but nobody knows this except God.Today God gives half of the people in the world 1 thousand dollars and the other half nothing. (The half that are getting a million dollars tomorrow get nothing today.) Is God fair? People are going to think he isn’t because they don’t know everything. They might think not getting a thousand dollars today is a big deal but compared to a million dollars a thousand dollars is not much. Now let’s take evil and suffering and death. Suppose I live to be 100 years old but some child dies before their first birthday. Is that fair? It appears that it is not, but what if we don’t know the whole story. What if we both actually live forever? Is 99 years in this life very important compared to forever? There is undeniably evil and suffering in the world but what if there is much greater good and evil that we don’t know about because we only know about this world? What if the small evil and suffering in our world produces a greater good that God knows about but we don’t yet?My answer is that we don’t know if God is fair to everyone but I have no reason to believe that he is not.Let’s go further and assume that no God created us or the Universe. Is it fair that some of us are born rich and some of us are born poor? It seems to me that in that case we all had the same chance to be born rich and it was the luck of the draw. I think people think that lotteries are fair even though not everyone wins. I guess that all of us having the same chance to be born rich but not everyone is, is also fair.

Is everything fair in love and war?

“Everything is fair in love and war.”When you need to do the most heinous of the acts you will be supporting the above statement because if everything is fair in love and war you can:Cheat your partner who is in love with you and say the above line.Kill whomever you feel like and be content because you know everything is fair in love and war. Like this one; Teen Love Triangle Murder CaseUsing deceit and trickery as a way to attract your partner. But there is a different side to this line the side which we usually don’t see; sometimes in life there are overwhelming situations. Which we can not judge on moral values. In war:SpyingKilling other human life in the name of patriotism or just to defend one self.TortureLyingMaking deal with enemiesBombing CiviliansIn love:In the name of true love you can wreck havoc.Break hundreds of heartIn situation that are not explainable love is not very different to war a person will go mad in love and kill someone or commit suicide in the name of love as if they have lost everything. At last I want to mention that this phrase is used as “more of an excuse” rather than a statement.I hope i have answered your question.Namaste.

What do you think about Life, being unfair or fair?

A winner never stops trying!!Do we human beings should always think life has been unfair to them always.. Should we I don't think so..because I think life is a challenge meet it.Yes, I truely agree that life sometimes be unfair to us but we shouldn't loose hope and faith and the most important think Self - confidence and trust in yourself . I think we shouldn't care what other people say ..we should always listen to our heart .. Dont go through life but we should Grow through life!!Let me share one story:-Arunima sinha born in 1988, she was the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest .Do we know the hardships she faced..she was a national level volleyball player who was pushed from a running train by some thieves during 2011 while she was resisting them..as a result she suffered multiple fractures after which she was left alone on the tracks tied to the fish plates and all sorts of rodents and other mosquitoes etc.came to feed on her decay..and as a result one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee..but do you know what she said when life has been so unfair to her.. She said- “ Bhagwan ji agar aapne mujhe bachaya he in aaj toh jarur itehaas rachne ke liye jarur bachaya hoga” (God if you have saved me today it is just because You wanted me to create history) Such beautiful lines .. SALUTE TO HER!!After climbing MOUNT EVEREST don't you think life has been so fair to her she recieved PADMA SHRI AWARD :-)Life is too short to be sitting around miserable !!Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other things..Be a warrior and not a worrier!!KEEP SMILING:-)

Do you think it's fair for children to be compared with their classmates in terms of academic excellence?

It depends on the subject and the mission of the school. In the US, for most public schools, it is considered fair. Absent that, it isn't fair to top students if everyone gets an A. That's called “grade inflation”The way it is handled in the US is that most high schools offer different level classes - CP, honors, AP, etc.Harder classes with greater rigor give a 5 for an A, whereas lower level courses give a 4 for A. This is just one possible example. So two students could have the same unweighted average, but the one who takes harder classes will have a higher weighted average.

Do you think it is fair that Watson and Crick were credited with the discovery....?

For starters, your premise is wrong. Wilkins was also recognized by the Nobel committee, and they were the only three involved in solving the pattern of the DNA molecule. There might have been a lot of people adding pieces to the puzzle, but in the end the credit went to those who actually solved the puzzle.
