Do You Think When The Children Are Out Of The Room Obama Will Lower The Deficit A Bunch More

Who do you think will win the 2012 American presidential election? (and why)?

In my opinion i hope Romney wins.
here's why: -I think America is very separated as a nation right now
-whether you're pro gay marriage, pro life, or pro choice i really don't think this is relatively important in the next election because i personally believe we should be working to making America become debt free and focused on fixing the economy...plus no social issue is going to be passed in congress with it being so mixed opinionated.
-If you like obamacare or not...i believe it should definitely should have not been passed, at least not at this time, with it adding tons of more debt in a economic crisis....plus Obama clearly lied to the American people saying it would not be a tax-when that was the only reason it was in fact deemed constitutional.
-I want a president that will at least try to fix the damn economy...i mean all obama has done is add more and more and more debt to America....Now is not the time to try to advocate a healthcare law that half the population is against and adds debt.
-In my opinion Obama is a great talker, but to me i feel like all he does is straight up lie to the American people and deceives them ... I feel like he'll say anything to get re-elected (not that Romney won't either)
-Overall, American needs a president that is focused on fixing the economy. We don't need to be debating social issues or putting in a new healthcare system, rather coming up with new solutions to fixing the economy. Obama has failed in every aspect in fixing the economy...As i see it, Romney is a successful businessman and therefore will at least have a better shot at fixing the economy.

If studies show that the Dream Act would cut $1.4B from the deficit, why aren't Republicans pushing it through?

They keep screaming that they won't vote on anything that does not cut the deficit. So why aren't they jumping to push the Dream Act through?

==================
CBO: Dream Act would cut 1.4 billion dollars off the federal deficit. Please make some calls

This just in -- a new Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimate of the DREAM Act shows that the legislation would increase revenues by $2.3 billion in the 2011-2020 period. After accounting for spending: CBO and JCT estimate that enacting the bill would reduce deficits by about $1.4 billion over the 2011-2020 period. The House is expected to vote on the common-sense measure next week.

According to Frank Sharry, Executive Director of America’s Voice: The new CBO estimate adds to what we already know. The DREAM Act is an important means of strengthening our economy, bolstering our military, and upholding American values of community, opportunity, and hard work. Both parties and both chambers of Congress should act to pass it immediately.

Do you think African Americans?

Depends, some do some dont.

Usually i could tell between Black Americans and Caribbean people...dunno why tho i just can. Its less of a physical ting and more about mannerisms, expressions, etc.

Also though it is true that Black Americans are mixed with considerable white ancestry, alot of the same can be said about West Indians, Latin Americans and even some African popualtions. Cabo Verde is a country in Africa with a mainly Mulatto population.

Take some actors& rappers and other entertainment and public figures. 50 Cent, Wesley Snipes, and even Clarence Thomas could easily pass for pure African if they wanted to. At the same time Nelson Mandela is rather fairskinned and he's straight from the motherland. Although on average African Americans tend to be a bit lighterskinned than their African counterparts, in reality all Black populations tend to come within the same range of complexions, with africans being more clustered around darker complexions, African Americans and West Indians being roughly intermediate, and Afro-Latinos being lighter.

There hasnt been a Black person from anywhere that looked so unique that I would be able to tell where they were from on the spot (except maybe for ethiopians& somalis) So for me, there's no clear cut answer to your question.

EDIT:

Whoppi looks pure black because she is, in fact, 92% black. Of course her black genes are dominant, theyre almost her entire genotype. Being 8% anything doesnt make you mixed lol

Mae Jemison had slanted eyes and was caramel skinned...she didnt look "pure black" either lol. But the thing is, we're so accustomed to seeing blacks of many different colours that when we see people like her we dont instantly think she might be mixed with something. Most americans say Obama looks black because we typically consider lightskinned people to look black...but if you went to Latin America, a region with different racial classifications they would say Obama looks mixed.

Is Neil Armstrong racist for telling Obama not to cut the space program?

'Without the skill and experience that actual spacecraft operation provides, the USA is far too likely to be on a long downhill slide to mediocrity'
