1. France : Although hard to defend the World Cup title, they have many notable young players, combined with plenty of experience.Key players : Kante, Griezmann, Pogba, Umtiti, Varane, Mbappe, and Ousmane Dembele.2. Brazil : It has been a long time since a South American nation has won the World Cup (16 years in fact.) Do you think Belgium will win the 2018 World Cup?

I don’t think so.See at this team. They dominated world football for a while. 2008 Euro, 2010 world cup and 2012 Euro. This is a team consisting of mainly Real Madrid and Barcelona. The La Roja played the classic Tiki Taka. Every player knew each other’s strengths and weaknesses. When your team is gelling in well, you can win more matches. Spanish team played almost perfect football. They had a plan, they had a style of play. Now look at this team:Do you see any common team between the players? Nope.Even in the world cup 2014, Belgium did not play more like a team for me. Because players don’t know about each other much. They had to rely much on counter attacks. There was not much creativity you would expect from such a team. And if you see who won the world cup that time:Germany: Who has players mainly from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. They. Again. Have a plan. A style of play. Immense team spirit. That’s why they defeated Ronaldo’s team, Messi’s team, and won.No doubt Belgium has a strong squad, but they need to gel in well. Otherwise it isn’t possible for them to win the world cup.

Who do you think will win this world cup at the current stage?

This has been on of the most topsy-turvy qualification rounds in FIFA history. From Argentina qualifying by a whisker to Sweden topping a group and the biggest shock, Germany crashing out in the group stages, no one can quite predict what will happen.I’ll still have a stab at it though.France have been largely unimpressive in the group stages, but wih their overstocked attacking talent and potent midfield with the likes of Pogba, Kante and Fekir, no one can rule them out. They can hit rich form anytime now.Belgium have been really good this WC, topping the group by winning all 3 matches. They have also dominated matches, and despite fielding a weakened side against England(who also did field a weaker side, to be honest), they came out trumps thanks to a wonder-goal from Januzaj.Brazil have also topped the groups, and although they have impressed only in parts, have every chance to go all the way. Watch out for Coutinho, who has scored 10 in his last 11 for club and country.England. We know what’s gonna happen, don’t we?Spain. Looked lackluster in the group stages. It seems as if the sacking of Lopetegui has affected them. Isco looks amazing though.Argentina. Although it doesn’t look likely, they’re my favorite team. And besides, everyone would love to see Messi win a major honour for his country.Oh, and by the way, If Argentina beat France and Portugal beat Uruguay, it will set up a mouthwatering quarter final between the 2 greatest players of this generation. Fingers crossed!

Will Brazil win the 2018 World Cup?

I think we will because this time we have a good coach - and not someone really bad (Dunga) or completely outdated (Felipao) who only got the job by political and nostalgic reasons.
