The mainstream media has been very easily tricked. Today's headlines support lie after lie just like yesterday's headlines. So how can I prove the MSM is easily tricked? Show you the first piece of the puzzle to solving the biggest mystery in history that the MSM fools have missed for decades.
How much do you trust the mainstream media?
As much as Arvind Kejriwal's tweets.I'm not qualified to comment about other countries, but I do have an opinion as far as Indian media is concerned. The media these days is more about style than about substance; form over content. They indulge in sensationalizing stories, over-analyzing topics, making a mockery of debates and what not. The way some of the news channels conduct their talk shows seems like a war rather than a discussion, the host being the instigator.The so-called leading journos like Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai, his wife, etc. can stoop to the lowest to defame the PM and destabilize the government just in the name of secularism. Hypocrisy is their biggest ally.A leading daily like the TOI has Kate Middleton's upskirt moment as its cover story rather than dire issues like droughts, education, etc.TRPs, hits, likes and clicks are what matter these days. Making a story out of simply nothing is the order of the day. Accusations and biased judgement rule the roost.
How much can the U.S. "mainstream media" be trusted?
Not at all.And I hate to say that. I trained as a journalist and was incredibly disenchanted early on when I learned that much of what we students are taught is untrue.The only principle emphasized more strongly that not plagiarizing is that reporters should be unbiased. Just report the news as it is.Nonsense. This teaching is an outright lie and they know it.Everyone is biased, journalists more than most others. They use the news to push their agendas and to skew the news. This can be done very overtly in the manner that they write, or through something as subtle as a properly-chosen photograph.While I am a liberal myself, 85% of the media is so far extreme left that I feel almost conservative by comparison.Journalists play a major role in drumming up support for, or sentiment against, wars and other major issues. You aren't given the entire picture when you tune in; you are given carefully chosen tidbits that specifically mean to create, and modify your world view.Domestic issues are skewed as well. Take the police beatings so prevalent in the news now. Carefully chosen scenes and information influence viewers as to who is in the right and who is in the wrong, regardless of where the fault lies. I have practically stopped trying to determine fault in these issues because I know I can't trust the reporters.It's all very sad.And that is why I did not pursue Journalism after having pursued a B.A. in it.
Do you trust the media?
No they're loaded with bias,half-truths,omissions,ideological presuppositions. That's exactly how Pres. Obama got elected.
Do you trust RT News or the mainstream media more?
Rt more. It shows what our side doesn't want us to know. Our side wants endless war, by hook or by crook. After 2003, only a fool would not question our sides motives. 2008 no JAIL for banksters. 2003 Bush junior and Blair no being held to account. Than Syria. It was the "moderate rebels" our side so helpfully armed to the teeth, who bombed Syria with chemical weapons. But our mainstream media still carries on as if it was Assad. Even the UN verified it was the "moderate rebels". Than 2011 Libya. Again our side had underhanded motives. Since than its overrun by cursed Al Qaeda knockoffs, before none had a foothold. This ignited the first rush of the refugees crisis. Clinton's leaked emails showed Gadaffi had GOLD, and was planning on selling oil in NON $. I.e. the $ as SOLE reserve currency would have taken a hit. Printing bits of paper and calling it money or $ to finance endless unjustified wars (he didn't threaten them with annihilation, but our side illicitly sold arms to whoever was willing to overthrow Gadaffi, without telling us) whilst leaving the tax payer to pay for those wars, whilst the banksters and the military industrial complex and the politicians enriched themselves. Neocons want a war with Russia. Some never learn. Neocons the project for the new american century is still in play. The dumdums actually think a nuclear war is winnable. Maybe they got underground bunkers, or a one way tickle to the stars. What do Liberals think of Mainstream Media?
Most of them will make a snotty comment like "They're a lot better than lying Donnie Douchebàg", but I'm not liking for an answer like that. What do you think of the mainstream media as its own entity, separate from Trump and Republicans. Do you think they lie? Do they have agendas that don't match those of the American public?
