Do You Want A Sewed Picture Of Yours Strange But True I Can Sew Your Face For A Wall Hanger

Will you share a picture of the piece of knitting, sewing, or crocheting that you're most proud of?

I was going to avoid using my most recent cosplay, but, after consideration, it really is currently the one I’m most proud of. Photography by a friend, I did my own Photoshopping (I get a little dramatic, I know)I found teal wool fabric from 1968 on Etsy that had been kept away from light and everything else and was in perfect condition. It was exactly the right amount of fabric, I had only inches of scraps left over. I pressed every seam. I hand-hemmed the bottom edge with a blind hem, and with my grandmother’s hem tape. I hand stitched the white fabric trim (it probably should have been cream, so sue me) into place so it would always be exactly where I wanted it. The dress laces up the back with leather cord and grommets. The wig came from Arda, but I hand stitched 2 more full lengths wefts, each 8 feet long, with hair 3 feet long, into the wig cap and curled the strands with a hot curling iron. I ‘rooted’ the wig with a red sharpie to make the roots darker and add more dimension.I made the bow out of PVC pipe, a heat gun, dye, and faux-leather wrappings. I made my quiver too, but it’s not in this photo. I fletched my arrows, but they don’t have metal or pointed arrow heads so I can take them to conventions. The only thing unaltered are the paddock boots that I have for riding. I don’t have a photo yet with a black horse, but I will at some point.

What do teenagers do that adults find cringeworthy?

Well, I’m 16 here so I am the cringeworthy one here but these are my cringeworthy things I see my peers do:Buy likes on Instagram. It’s so weird when you scroll through someone's Instagram Wall: 10 likes, 30 likes, 4 likes, 8,456 likes… What? It's pretty obvious they bought likes, yet they deny it and pretend they really did get that many likesObsess about likes/whatevers on social media. Somebody double tapped on a picture of yours. Yay.Any strange selfie pose. Duck lips, tongue sticking out, you get itSmoking pot. This is a controversial one I’m sure I’ll be ripped on. My peers think it's so cool to take drugs but they have no idea how stupid they look on it from a sober’s perspective.Having sex with with every person in the school. I'm not going to call anyone names over it, but keep your junk in your pants. You have your entire life to fuck with whoever you want and you're going to do it with pimply high schoolers in prom dresses. STD’s are bad and it's best not to contract them at age 16 (or ever).Thinking it's okay to rape people and get away with it because “you’re only 17.” *sigh* (This goes with any crime actually)Pretending they're accepting of everyone but then when I say “I like Taylor Swift” they are like “NOOO! YOU SUCK, YOU POP PIECE OF SHIT! TØP ONLY!”Saying that “we are the generation to break stereotypes” but then again they are like “you must be like Regina George because you wear pink! I hate you! You can't be friends with us!”Obsessing about politics when they can't vote. It is important for young people to care about the future and what's going on in the world. But when my friends are becoming enemies over Hillary Clinton, that crosses the line (this actually happened in my friend group. They still hate each other). The word “squad.” This is a minor one but that word drives me crazy! It sounds sooo tacky!

What is the best thing about someone born under the cancer sign?

Positive Traits: kind, loving, emotional, intuitive, imaginative, shrewd, cautious, protective and sympathetic.

Negative Traits: changeable, moody, over-emotional, touchy, untidy, clinging, unable to "let go," and a tendency to wallow in self-pity.

Likes: hobbies, romance, children, parties, home and country.

Dislikes: failure, opposition, aggravating situations, being told what to do and being given advice...whether good or bad.

Natives of Cancer are probably most in tune with those governed by Pisces, since Pisces is prone to moods just like Cancer, but of a less volatile nature. This is a couple who will find peace and harmony throughout the majority of their relationship.

Scorpio, another Sign ruled by the element of Water, would also be favorable since Scorpio is equal to the moods of Cancer and capable of great understanding. Cancer finds the Scorpio depth of character intriguing and will certainly appreciate the rich view of life inherent in the Scorpio nature, to say nothing of the awareness and perception associated with that Sign. This is a couple who will likely provide everything either has ever wanted in a relationship. The physical chemistry here is quite amazing...it is long-lasting and only gets better with the passage of time.

Is it illegal to paint something that I see online painted by someone else?

It's only illegal if you would present your painting as being original, without mentioning the painting you copied. You can very well present it as a copy. It all becomes more complicated if you intend to sell your painting. In that case, the best thing to do is contact the painter of the original painting (or its heir) and tell what you're intending. Either he (or she) is honoured, and you come to some kind of arrangement, or he doesn't want you to exhibit and/or sell the painting and than you expose yourself to legal pursuit.A painter has the same exclusive rights under U.S. Copyright law as writers or musicians. Read more : http://www.ehow.com/list_6598138_copyright-laws-paintings.html But copyrights may be different from one country to another. It also depends on cultural background and context. For instance, in 18th century Japan it was considered an honour for an artist to be copied.Copying of artworks is often a very difficult question. It's not allways obvious an artist is copying. With the overwhelming amount of images circulating in the press and on the internet it's not easy to say on the first hand which image is an original, and which one is a copy. In many cases artists take an image or part of an image and rework it, turning it into something different, considering it as their own creation. You see that for instance with artists like Andy Warhol with his soup cans and photos of Marilyn Monroe. Andy Warhol faced a series of lawsuits from photographers whose work he appropriated. However, Warhol's works are generally held to be non-infringing, despite being clearly  appropriated, because "the public is unlikely to see the painting as sponsored by the soup company or representing a competing product.  Paintings and soup cans are not in themselves competing products",  according to expert trademark lawyer Jerome Gilson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lis... Same is true for Jeff Koons Jeff Koons Accused of Plagiarism in Paris, Again
