Budget Subwoofer Hair trick?
Im planning too build a cheap bass system thats loud and can push a ton of air like SMD or Jp's tahoe, I was told lots of cone are, lots of power and hitting them lows. I have a suv with 2 8''s that pushes a little air but not enough. What is a good cheap system that can fit my needs? 4 15s 10 10s..whatever.. as long as its cheap and will not burn up when i throw power too them. 10 xplods? give me some ideas. thanks
How does distortion cause damage to a speaker?

I can feed a speaker 100% distortion all day long with no damage as long as the thermal and mechanical limits of the speaker are not exceeded. I can exceed the thermal and/or mechanical limits of a speaker and watch it fail in short order. These are electrical and physical truths and anything else is a myth.
