What is the hash key on a debit card?
I have a barclays visa debit card and im trying to top up my phone using it - but it asks me to type in my hash key. This is my first debit card and ive only had it for a couple of weeks so... im stuck... im on tesco mobile if that makes a difference? Thank you

It means your card is expired. Give the bank a call about this. The bank should have sent you one in the mail a month ago. Did they mail it to another address? Call your bank right now. /
When we have cancelled the order on Amazon, how long will it take for the refund to be initiated, provided that we paid using a debit card?

But to reflect that refund on your Credit /Debit Card Statement you may have to wait for a max of 30 Days.If Amazon says the refund has been initiated .In that case be rest assured that it is almost next to impossible that you will not get your money back. Is it risky if someone knows your bank account number or ATM card number?
In india, there is no risk if anyone knows ur bank account number as there is nil possibilty of setting a debit to your account by someone without your consent. Thats why whenever u r making signature, make sure for what u r signing. It may be ur consent. Also in this era of online shopping, read terms and conditions before accepting something. However it may be risky to reveal ur debit or credit card number as some sites or POS dont require PIN. They directly charge you on entering card number. Therefore In india, it is risky if the following combinations are known to somebody else other than you. (1) your debit card or credit card and its PIN number(2) your debit or credit card number and CVC code on back of it and PIN number (3) sometimes only card NOIn most of cases, all card companies and banks proving net banking, provide high security of OTP. OTP means one time password. Once ur enter ur card or net banking credentials while doing some online txn, apart from card no, CVC or PIN, user is asked to enter OTP, which is sent to registered mobile No of the user. And this password has no validity for more than 5 to 15 minutes. So its prudent on part of user to keep ur mobile wid urself. Nobody can help if ur mobile is also missing alongwith ur card or net banking credentials.
