Does An Eyebrow Piercing Hurt Worse Than A Belly Piercing

Does a navel piercing hurt?

Pain is relative, as it originates in the brain, and all brains are different.  The short answer is yes, but 10 different people will claim 10 different levels of pain.  Comparatively speaking, it's one of the less painful piercings.  Most people find it not only tolerable, but also not hugely painful.  I'd compare it to the earlobe piercing.  Navel skin is thicker than the lobe, but the needle is less painful than the gun, always.  For me, who got my navel done at 14, the clamp used to hold the skin in place hurt worse than the piercing. The piercing is a quick sharp pinch, then a few moments of fiddling the clamp off and jewellery on which can cause slight tugging.  It was very tolerable for me, even at 14.  In short, a quick 2-4 on the pain scale, then tolerable soreness. If you're not good with pain, bring a plushie to hug or friend's hand to hold.  Drink juice or something sugary before and during your visit to the parlour.  It's very unlikely, but people have passed out once they stood up after being pierced.  Juice helps prevent this.  I've personally never seen anyone faint.  Take anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen at home to help with swelling and soreness. Do not take aspirin before the piercing; it is a blood thinner. Follow the piercer's directions to the letter. So, to summarize:  One of the less painful piercings.  Compare it to earlobe piercing.  Perhaps a 2-4 out of 10 pain-wise, then mild soreness.  If you think you'll have trouble with pain, come prepared.Good luck, future belly button blingers!

Does the Eyebrow piercing hurt more than the Nose?

I have my nose pierced, and it hurt like a *****.. I also have an industrial bar, and a tragus. The guy that pierced it had trouble getting the needle thru my ear on the industrial.

I'm kinda scared that the eyebrow is gonna hurt, because the nose hurt so bad I wouldn't do it again.

Does your nose or tongue piercing hurt worse?

Pain is relative to the person being pierced. What this means is while one person finds a certain piercing to be relatively painless, the next person may find the same piercing excruciating, and vise-versa.

In regards to aftercare, however, a nose piercing will be far less painful (with the sensation being tender, much like an ingrown hair), where the tongue piercing will swell for a number of days afterwards - and while some people find it painful, others simply find it uncomfortable.

Does getting your tongue pierced hurt more than getting your belly button pierced?

well never had a navel piercing but i got my tongue pierced 2 days ago along with my septum
i was expecting the worst pain ever for the septum but it was nothing
i didnt expect much from the tongue piercing and i was right, that wasnt anything either

HOWEVER, about a half hour after and even two days later your tongue swells up HUGE and its really painful to eat and you pretty much have to suck your spit to the back of your throat to swallow because it hurts to swallow your spit like you normally would

that said, i can guarantee you tongue piercings suck worse than navel piercings, but its really not all that bad, you're just miserable for a couple days is all

What hurts more, getting ur belly button or eyebrow piercing?

Eyebrow and tongue piercing?

Eyebrow:
- Don't have my navel pierced, so can't compare the two. I can say that getting my eyebrow pierced felt similar to getting my earlobes pierced. It's slight pressure and a sharp pinch that's over very quickly. Didn't hurt much at all.
- Takes about 3-4 months to heal.
- I got my left eyebrow done, so I slept on my right side while it was healing. After a couple months, it was okay to lay on it again.
- I don't get my eyebrows done, so can't help you here.

Tongue:
- My tongue piercing didn't hurt at all. The only part that caused some pain was getting the jewelry in. Really easy piercing to get.
- I lived off soup and smoothies for about four days. Then I started back on my normal diet, but making sure to take really small bites and chew very carefully. Having a barbell through your tongue takes a little getting used to.
- Uh, I slept like normal. My tongue doesn't really affect my sleep :)
- It takes about 1 month to heal.
- Nope, not at all. As long as you wait until it's healed to start changing it, anyway. It might take a couple tries to get the angle down the first time, but then you'll be able to change the barbell no problem.
- Once it's healed, you can eat whatever you want. It won't hurt or burn or anything.
