Why are people so stupid in horror movies?
i have the exact same question. i was watching "the unborn" and had a scene in which the lights are out and an old lady hears something and though she can't walk properly she goes down the stairs to check it out and she gets herself killed!! you can see scenes like this in almost every horror movie....i can easily predict what happens in horror movies even without seeing them! i guess if those things didn't happen then no horror movie would be horror! imagine that in the above mentioned scene the lady wouldn't go after the evil "thing" and went back to sleep!
Movie name: Girl trapped inside a wood box in an apartment?
I want to know the name of this movie, I'll describe what i remember. A girl was trapped inside a wood box, by a men, probably because he loved her and she didn't love him so he kept her locked inside his apartment, she was gaged and he would close the box when someone entered the apartment, i also remembered he embalming her by injecting a fluid inside her veins. This might sound weird, but i remember watching this and it bothers me not knowing the title of the movie. Anyone knows the title? Thank you
Whats the terror movie about a thief trying to steal a trapped house?
I saw this movie about 3 years ago and i really loved it but i cant remember the title.Its about a man that his wife is drug addict or sth and needs money,so he prettends to be a mechanic to install the lights and other things of some rich people that are moving.He does that so that he knows the house because he is planning to steal a ruby crystal from their safe but when he goes in the night to steal it hthe whole house is full of traps and when he goes to the basement he realises theres another man with a mask and the couple is in bathtabs with tripwire.He tries to save their little deaugh daughter and in the end when he knocks down the psycho and the police with an ambulance get to the house while he is in teh ambulance the psycho get sup steals a car and get him into a box where he had the previous victim alive(he put him in there alive).Thats it,i really enjoyed that movie.
Why do people find The Exorcist as a "funny" movie?
I actually believe that possessed children, especially with all the cuts and graphic things, are scary. I mean, how is it considered funny? Regan's head was turning fully around, and just all in all going insane on screen. And the fact it was based off true events, amps it up a little more. For me, the scariest parts were seeing her all normal and happy in the begining, then seeing the demon literally trasnform her. I like bloody movies, but I really don't see how getting people's limbs cut or torn off are scary, or losing lots of blood. And all the gore, like in today's horror/thriller movies. To me, those are just mainly gross. I think The Exorcist (original one) actually showed horror. The horror of an innocent child being possessed. I'm fifteen, and I could not believe people actually laughed at this! Seeing lots of blood and gore doesn't make something scary, you know.
What's the name of this island escape movie?
Alright, I have only seen a bit of this film once when it was on TV, and I've always wanted to see the whole thing. It seemed to be set in the future, but it may have not been. There was a guy who is trying to escape for some reason from what seemed like a prison/island of some sort. In order for the guy to escape, he had to grab onto what seemed like a box that was being air-lifted by an aircraft from the water around the island/facility. Under normal operation of the facility, all people inside had to scan their fingerprints to prove that they were still in the facility, preventing them from exiting with the pickup/shipment thing. He cut off a slice of skin from his finger, which was his fingerprint and put it on a eraser, and created a ruth-goldberg-esk device to put his fingerprint onto the pad/scanner at the right time to allow him to be outside of his room at the time of the pickup/drop off thing. He also trained to stay underwater in his bathtub for some reason. He used cigarettes as timers for his training and also used them to time the contraption. Thanks

my friend is having a sleepover and told me we are gonna watch the "saw" movies. some types of horror dont bother me, but some really can get scary for me. can someone just give me the movie plots of the "saw" movies? no i do not care about spoilers - in fact, give it all away! another thing: do not give me a link to a website with the plot unless you are POSITIVE the page doesnt contain any pics from the movie. i saw the trailer on tv and that gross weird puppety weird guy scares the crap out of me. hes one ugly mothafudger. thanks!
