Did anybody find The Shining scary?
Hell yes. Not as much now because I am 19, but when I saw the movie I was 7. I kept putting myself in place of that kid and it scared me that we were the same age. 1. When he turns down the hallway and the two little girls are just standing next to each other STARING at him....WTF is all i have to say. When the mom is running away from the dad and she looks into the room and sees a guy dressed as a teddy bear thing going down on an older man. The the Teddy bear guy looks up....OMG....SMH...what scares me the most is thinking about what you would do in that situation... 2. Naw you're good. I don't know how old you are or how many horror movies you have seen. If your 14-20 then yea, this movie probably won't scare you especially if you're in the wrong mind set. When ever I watch it now, I'm 19, I watch it for the simple pleasure of knowing that this movie scared me when I was younger. It absolutley terrified me. Tips: Next time you watch it try to put yourself in the place of the little boy. Then try to think how it would feel if you were in that situation.

It's called "The Foretelling" by Alice Hoffman (Amazon link below). The bear's name was Usha. If that's the book, it's quite fantastic, but more brutal than I would normally recommend anyone younger than the age you likely read it - 12 or 13.
Teddy bear hamster in distress signs??
It is definately in distress. Check for any injuries or any abnormalities in your hamster. If there's any form of injuries or abnormalities on your hamster, call a vet immediately as squelling to is audiable to humans usually surprise or fear or pain. If he is new to the surrounding, put it in to more quieter place to calm it down. (Place a piece of cloth over the cage as hamster are night time animals). If none of the above, then prehaps you had place something new in or around your cage. Check your cage or the surrounding for any new additions and remove them as your hamster dont like them. Hope your hamster will feel better.
