Does Anybody Know Where The Ocean Pool/natural Pool In Laguna Beach Is

Anyone know of a hotel BETWEEN Legoland and Sea World in San Diego?

Both Legoland and SeaWorld are off Interstate 5 not Interstate 15. Exit Cannon Road for legoland, and Sea World Drive for SeaWorld. The midway point is Del Mar. The Del Mar Hilton is at I-5 and Via De La Valle. Also in Del Mar are the Del Mar motel this one is on the beach, The Stratford Inn Del Mar or the Courtyard Marriott Solana Beach, and the Holiday Inn Express Solana Beach.

Is San Diego, California a good place to live?

I think it's a beautiful city, it's just expensive (real estate) wise to live there. I'm unsure about the apartments though.

The beaches are really beautiful, I mean GORGEOUS beaches. I went Downtown while I was there on my trip, at night...and it seemed pretty safe. Although, I didn't see any cops there (maybe that's a good thing?) They have a lot of clubs and restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter (Downtown area)...check out the House of Blues if you're ever there. You know, they only have 5 right now in the entire USA. Dallas is next on the list.
I think you will LOVE the weather...who wouldn't?

I'm not sure if you can easily find work there, San Diego is 2 hours from Los Angeles and there is a high way...called the 5 which takes you there...pretty much all the way to San Fransisco (which is 5 hrs from San Diego). And also South on San Diego...Tijuana, Mexico.

There is a Navy base in San Diego, so it is very influenced by the military. I thought the Navy base was beautiful...I mean, everything is there. There are nice hills and many houses that are sitting on top of them...many of the homes are very close together.

I hope I have answered some of your questions...I think San Diego would be a nice place to live!

Does the human body absorb water while swimming?

Nope, it's not because of the body absorb water while swimming. The need to urinates more when or after swimming is due to mamalian dive reflex, which in turn induce, immersion diuresis and consequently urination. You can do more reading and understand better if you Google those terms but I'm going to simplify from my own understanding during my diving course.Mammals like us humans, breathe using our lungs, unlike fishes and marine creatures who usually breathe through gills. Thus, we and aquatic mammals like dolphins, whales, sea lions and even other land mammals who jumped into the water are blessed with this natural reflex called mammalian dive reflex (MDR), telling our bodies to work efficiently in or underwater. There are 3 major things that triggers MDR (or 4 but I forgotten):Facial submersion - little nerves on our face detect when it's submerged in water,it turns on MDRPressure - when divers dive down just 1m underwater there's changes of pressure detectedBreath hold/ apnea - when mammals dive, they hold their breath, this trigger MDRNow what MDR does is it gonna make us function more efficiently for the task at hand, especially when the water is cold or colder than your core temperature. The blood vessels in our extremities (like your arms and legs, fingers) will shrink, and oxygenated blood will be more in our vital organs which are heart and brain, because that's where the oxygen is more needed to keep your survival. This makes the blood volume in the heart increase. The body needs to regulate blood volume, so the brain took this signals as it has too much water in there, so body draw out water from your body and that's why you need to pee. Now, in swimming, you may not feel so much pressure because you don't dive down, but the other factors are enough to trigger MDR. Apart from that, as another answer states, the sense of weightlessness also induce diuresis, in swimming, buoyant body give your brain sense of weightlessness. So those are contributing factors of why you urinate more after swimming than other sports. You can read more about MDR and weightlessness here:What Makes Divers Want to Pee While Diving?

When are there the most seashells at Newport Beach CA?

While there is always a constant of shells at nearly any beach Newport Beach isn't necessarily known for collecting shells. There are however a couple of good areas to look for shells. China Cove would be one, but it's a fairly busy cove with many locals and tourists visiting the cove. It's also fairly busy in that it abuts the harbor entrance.IMHO the best place to search for shells year round would be Crystal Cove. It's a bit more remote and has less visitors than many of the other beaches around Newport Beach. Crystal Cove has natural tide pools and rock formation that jut out to the sea.As an aside, if you're desiring to collect shells on your visit to Newport Beach consider making a trip to Laguna Beach which is just south of Crystal Cove. Laguna has multiple beaches with natural coves and many more natural rock formations along the sea shore.Enjoy your stay!

Is it fun to swim in and spend the day at the beach in Oregon with small children in early September or is it too cold?

The water temperature on Oregon beaches in summer average 55–58F so real swimming is not viable for anyone but polar bears and those with wetsuits. That said, plenty of kids will splash in the surf and wade knee deep or so. Between the cold water and the ever present wind, they will want a warm and dry towel within a few moments of exiting the water. To put things in perspective, my Golden Retrievers start shivering despite 20 minutes of vigorous retrieving in the water. Also, surfers universally wear wetsuits.Be sure to bring a kite with extra-strong string. The winds are ideal!

Where are the best beach campsites in Southern California?

Doheny and San Clemente come to mind.
