Does Anybody Think Higher Of Bill Clinton Then George Bush

What were the legacies that were left behind by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush?

A legacy is a set of ideas, beliefs, values, morals, and things that handed down from generation to generation.

With that, what were the legacies that were left behind by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush?

ALSO:

What did you think of Bill Clinton's policies and leadership qualities? Were you a supporter of him or not? Why?

What did you think of George W. Bush's policies and leadership qualities? Were you a supporter of him or not? Why?

Was George H. W. Bush better than Bill Clinton as president?

No, of course not. Bush Sr lost his re-election because he failed his presidency. He ran a mediocre and stagnant economy, and started an unfinished war to get back a dictatorships oil fields (Kuwait).Bill Clinton balanced the budget despite a hostile Congress, kept us out of war and preserved the most of our environment since Teddy Roosevelt. He beat a fraudulent Impeachment where there were no legal offenses and ended as a popular, twice elected President. Also, he was the last Democratic Centrist, which is badly needed now.Yes, Bills personal marriage was a big problem, which is his business. The man who started the inappropriate impeachment, Newt Gingrich, Speaker of the House, had several wives to cheat on and was soon after expelled from politics by his own party for corruption. Karma is a bit**h.

Who had a higher SAT score; George Bush or Bill Clinton?

Didn't George W. Bush pay someone to take his SAT for him?

Is George W. Bush a better president than Bill Clinton?

I believe that under the circumstances, Bill Clinton did a lot to disgrace the office he held and that he was not the most effective president. I saw Al Gore as a "YES MAN" who shadowed Clinton.

Bush, on the other hand, I respect and admire personally. I think he surrounds himself with capable people and makes difficult if unpopular decisions daily. If you're fair, almost every decision he's made are what you would have done at the time given the information he had to work with.

Let me know what you think and try to be honest and open minded.

If Bill Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar, but George Bush Sr. had to pay Yale to graduate his son, why do .........

Republicans are stuck on stupid. Their ideology is dead when Hillary becomes president.

Question about Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush (Easy 10 Points)!?

President Ronald Reagan:

"At some point, additional taxes so discourage the activity being taxed, such as working or investing, that they yield less revenue rather than more. There are, after all, two rates that yield the same amount of revenue: high tax rates on low production, or low rates on high production."

Result: As a result of the Reagan tax cuts, total federal government revenues climbed by 99.4 percent during the 1980s. The average annual growth rate of America's real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 1983 to 1989 was 3.8 percent per year, By the end of the Reagan years, the American economy was almost one-third larger than it had been when they began.

"From 1981 through 1989, the U.S. economy produced 17 million new jobs, or roughly 2 million new jobs each year."

Then Clinton followed up with the "dot coms" that came from Reaganomics..

As for W Bush .. 90% approval after 9/11 .. and then success after that until 2006 when Congress was taken by the Dems ..

President George Bush:

"The cornerstone of my economic policies, is cutting taxes on everybody who pays taxes."

"In 2001 the George W. Bush administration passed income-tax cuts that reduced individual tax rates by roughly 7.4 percent on the low end of the income spectrum, and by 9.3 percent on the high end. Two years later, capital gains tax rates were reduced from 20 percent and 10 percent (depending on income) to 15 percent and 5 percent, respectively. Cumulatively, these cuts led to a period of economic prosperity that lasted until the housing crisis of 2008."

Following the tax cuts, the growth rate was 4.1 percent.

During the six quarters after the cuts, it added 307,000 jobs. And during the seven quarters thereafter, another 5 million jobs were created.

"Bill Clinton: George H.W. Bush will help President Hillary" Proof that the elites are buddies in private?

How "private" can it be if he's allowed quotes of the exchange? If this was all so nefarious, why wasn't that liberal, meddling, busybody reporter SILENCED for daring to print something unflattering to America's Number One Criminal Mastermind, Bill Clinton?

As for your last question, anyone who is taken in by the rantings of a "blog". It WOULD be nice to have a viable third party, but the only reason to start one now, without any meaningful campaign finanace reform, is to just let more pigs feed at the corporate trough. Just a whole NOTHER set of rich, disconnected white men who have only one interest: Being part of what makes Washington, well, WASHINGTON: Fat pensions for doing nothing, a good ole boy system unparalleled in the rest of the world, a singleminded goal of eradicating ANY non-service job from the US.

On a different level, is it really so unbelievable, a past President might actually ASSIST a soon-to-be (well, we'll see anyway) President? Even one of another Party? In the interests of the citizens of the US (I know, I would find this mighty hard to believe too, but who knows?)?

So what youre cynicism is telling you is that Clinton and Bush Sr are in cahoots, but Bush Sr and Bush Jr AREN'T? Part of my constant and ever widening dismay with this President, is he has (or had) unprecedented access to the experience of more living Presidents, than any sitting President before him, not to mention one of those Presidents is his own FATHER.
How many times have you heard stories about Bush Jr calling his dad to the White House over some security emergency or other? NONE?
No one else has either. Let us not forget Bush Sr was Director of the CIA for MANY years, Vice President for 8, and Chief Executive for 4 (4 odd years, but at least we didn't the Supreme Court to determine what President Americans elected THAT election).
Bush Sr (I know thats not his name I type it that way just for shorthand) also receives daily intel briefs from ALL US and Allied intel services, a prerogative of ALL past Presidents, but one so far only exercised by Bush Sr. As far as foreign intelligence gathering, there are few living individuals as experienced or as capable as our former President Bush.
(Domestic policies sucked wind, but militarily and forieng relations wise, Bush Sr was da Bomb [how old am I?? lol])

Why is Bill Clinton still so involved in politics while George W. Bush is so removed?

Bill Clinton and George W are different people, with different personality types. Watching his “dance” with Michelle Obama (why does my spell check still underline “Obama” on this site?) yesterday at the memorial service in Dallas, as they sang “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” her smiles at him, and the way she even affectionately leaned toward him in the CNN video, I have problems believing Bush is not charismatic. Sure, Bill Clinton is a very likable person, but so is GWB, just both in their own ways.GWB has not been “removed,” actually. The night of the Osama bin Ladin killing, the President called Bush to tell him what he was doing, and purportedly to ask for insight. The White House has called the former president several times.Bush has been respectful of Mr. Obama, and has refused to say anything against him during the administration. That may actually be one reason he has been so quiet for the past 7+ years, as dirty partisan politics no longer allows such courtesy and regard for each other in either of the oppressive partisan regimes that now curse us.Despite what Republicans and sympathizers have said, Obama has not been “blaming Bush,” and Bush has not been railing against Obama. Some day, after both men are long removed from the White House, we will probably find out about the continuing friendship of these two men and their wives, much like what George H W Bush and Bill Clinton share. They aren’t just “friends”; they love each other like family members.Bush has done a lot more than “paint dogs” and play golf. He has also been available any time he was called on to speak or be present at an event. Like Bill Clinton, Bush is courteous, cooperative, and outgoing to people who desire his friendship. He is financially comfortable, and does not demand huge speaking fees. He still appears publicly in events that do not interest the press, like a Dave Ramsey event, or some religious non-partisan celebration.Give both men their due. For better or for worse, they have both left a significant mark on American history, and if things go a certain way, we will be seeing a lot more of Bill in the next few years. Expect him to be laid back, non-political, and maybe even a bit charming as he has to carve out the first role of “first husband” in American history.I don’t like the idea of a President Hillary or a President Donald, but one advantage to the former would be seeing how this scenario plays out.
