Can I dry out my hands with hand sanitizer for rock climbing?

I was wondering... can I use alcohol-based hand sanitizer to intentionally dry out my hands?

My hands don't sweat an abnormal amount (I've read about hyperhidrosis), but I've taken up rock climbing recently, and there are times where my hands and fingers sweat significantly more than usual. I believe it to be a combination of both being nervous and using the hand/finger muscles to keep myself close to the wall. I do use chalk when climbing, but I find myself sweating through it (and re-applying) probably every 5-10 moves.

Is washing my hands with alcohol-based sanitizer before applying chalk an effective short-term way to prevent this? As I get better at climbing, I will become less nervous AND I will learn to support myself better with my feet and legs instead of hands and fingers. So I really don't forsee this being a problem in the future. But for now, I climb in the gym where the combination of my hand sweat and slippery holds (from everybody else) make climbing a lot harder than it really should be.

With this question, I'm really not looking for a 'go buy this glue-grip stuff' kinda answer. I'm just wondering if going to Walgreens and saying "give me the no-name sanitizer known to dry out skin" would be an effective short-term solution.

Thanks!

What summer intensive has the best training?-CPYB-PBT-The Rock School?

CPYB hands down is the best of the three. The Rock does not have a good reputation and hasn't for many years now . There is a reason the Pensylvania Ballet no longer has them as their affiliate feeder school. PB takes most of their dancers from CPYB instead. CPYB offers world class training with teachers from the best ballet companies from all over the world during the summer. PBT is considered a good regional ballet company and school but not on the same level as CPYB.
Bottom line is you get out of an SI program what you put in no matter where you go. You will come out a better dancer with stronger technique if you attend CPYB and apply yourself. Don't get too hung up on what level they put you in. It is a program I think every serious dancer should do at least once. When you are of age to apprentice with a professional ballet company then CPYB isn't the best choice. You need to hook up with a program that is an affiliate feeder school to a professional ballet company that is the right match for you and them with the hopes of being taken into the company.

Why isn’t Rock Lee the strongest Naruto character? He has trained the longest and hardest. Chakra shouldn't make that big of a difference seeing that he and everyone has it.

Oh no no no no no NO. You misunderstand, chakra is what makes Lee different and weaker than most. It is a pretty big difference. He isn’t weak but rather extremely strong, he is one of the best Taijutsu users in Naruto but is still weaker than all those above him(Naruto, Sasuke, Madara, etc). He quite possibly knows the eight gates which grants the user extreme physical abilities and speed that bends space.(I said possibly because he hasn’t shown it or needed to show it, well, he can’t show it as the eight gates will kill him).So like I said, he is really strong and isn’t a pushover. But compared to the stronger characters…. He will still give them a run for their money before losing. We have a bit more time so I will explain why chakra is that big of a difference. For your future reference of course…If the tailed beast chakra monster known as Kurama wasn’t in Naruto’s body, then he would have died a long time ago.If Kakashi didn’t use up all of his chakra against Pain, he would've lived but he died.Sasuke needed the chakra of the nine tailed beasts to overwhelm Kurama and Naruto’s near infinite chakra reserves. If not for the Sage of Six Paths giving Naruto and Sasuke his chakra, the world would have ended. These examples should explain why chakra is so IMPORTANT in Naruto.Oh wait, I forgot one…. If there wasn’t chakra then The events of Naruto wouldn’t exist.Hope this helps, sorry for the sarcastic ending?

The hand that rocks the cradle or fatal attraction?

The hand that rocks the cradle, definitely. I mean, they both have crazy stalkers, but Glenn Close was just that and nothing more. Granted the rabbit scene was pretty crazy. The antagonist from the THTRTC was way more cunning, in how she invaded the family. She even went out of her way to frame the mentally challenged handy man after she got caught. Nobody saw her coming, unlike in fatal attraction, where it was obvious what she wanted and all Michael Douglass had to do was either not cheat on his wife or confess to her before it got out of hand. That being said even the back story of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle is more compelling.

Would Jason Statham have any chance against "The Rock" in real hand-to-hand combat?

I don’t know who would win the fight because I don’t know how well they can fight nor have I seen them fight in real life. If I had to put on my money on somebody it would be The Rock.Mass plays a lot bigger role in a real life fight than speed does. Most top athletes are very close in speed, but can be very different in size. Statham isn’t going to jump around him like an Anime hero. Few good hits from The Rock should put Statham down. The Rock is not only bigger in muscle size, he is also taller which means his arm reach is far greater and it’s easier for him to hit Stathman while Stathman has to lean in and expose himself to hit The Rock.I think The Rock would use his mass to pin him down and start beating on him. What does The Rock think about fighting Stathman?

What is the best way to discipline a pet rock?

A few rounds in the rock tumbler does wonders when my pet rocks get out of hand.

Don't think of it as a terrible punishment...just a great finish.

After a few rounds, they do get to be a bit dizzy, then they try to conduct an avalanche...in 'b flat'.
They start singing after that..."My Papa was a rolling stone".

Are today protestant sunday service very much like Rock concert?

From my expeirnce alot of the modern protestants seem to foucus on entertainment. Then others seem like lecture halls....
