Does Anyone Have A Good Recommendation For Shampoo/conditioner/leave In For Curly Hair I Have

Shampoo and Conditioner for athletic women whose hair is always pulled back?

I have dome sports all my life and I always have my hair pulled back. From this, I get frizzy hair on the top of my head. My hair is mid-back, thick, and has loose curls, which I love. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!!

Best Shampoo / Conditioner for thin, tangled hair???

garnier fructis...it's a really awesome shampoo and has done wonders to my hair! they have different options... if your hair is tangled and thin, i would try their volumizing shampoo or the one recommended for thin hair. i usually mix the type of shampoo + conditioner (volumizing shampoo and length + strength for conditioner) and have seen good results in my hair. plus it leaves my hair shiny and soft! and it's cheap too..so try it out.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for curly hair?

I have curly hair, too, so I understand the difficulties! The people saying to not wash hair have their information mixed up. Curly haired people should wash their hair at normal intervals, but the difference is that we need to use less shampoo, or choose a shampoo that is 100% sulfate free to avoid stripping and frizzing. However, we need to use lots of good conditioner and another good suggestion is a leave-in conditioner. The best types depend on your price range. If you really, really want to spend on your hair, and you need to control that frizz, always go with Aveda as your luxury hair care product. Yes, it is a big splurge, but if you can spend, and other hair products aren't working for you, it is the best: All natural, 100% sulfate free, plenty of great options and good nutrients for hair, and it smells amazing!! If you are going for drugstore brands, Garnier Fructis sleek and shine collection has a great shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. I personally love putting in the leave-in conditioner before I blow dry to ease frizz. Another drug store brand is the L'oreal Vive Pro Hydro Gloss Moisturizing Shampoo to help with dry hair. In between drug store and Aveda, Bed Head has some pretty good shampoos. My all-time fave from their collection is the their After Party Leave-in Conditioner/Frizz Tamer. It comes in a pink bottle, and you only need a tiny squirt, but it goes a long way for a long time. Hope this Helps :D

How long should you leave shampoo and conditioner in your hair?

I don’t recommend leaving shampoo in your hair for too long. Especially if the shampoo you are using contains silicone/sulfates (which most do) it can dry out your hair, damage it, and make it frizzy. I’d say get a good lather and make sure you clean your hair thoroughly, and rinse it out right when you are done.As for conditioner, it depends on your hair type. I have friends with natural hair (kinky, black, ethnic, call it what you will) who do not wash the condition out of their hair at all, because their hair can absorb it completely. If you have “typical” hair (straight, wavy, curly, basically hair that isn’t natural hair) then I would not recommend this at all.The longer you leave conditioner in, the better it works. Usually, I will wash my hair, put conditioner in it and put it up in a bun/shower cap. I leave it there while I shave, wash my face, wash my body, maybe exfoliate if I’m feeling fancy that day ;) Then, I wash it out with cold water. I leave my conditioner in my hair for 5–10 minutes.Once a month or so, I use a special intense conditioner (but you can use normal conditioner as well) which I put in my hair and leave it there for about an hour before washing out. My hair feels incredibly soft after doing this.At the end of the day, there is not right or wrong. I know people who just run conditioner through their hair and immediately wash it out, and they have fine hair. How long you leave conditioner in depends on your hair type, how much time you have, and how soft you want your hair to be :) I’d recommend leaving it for at least a couple of minutes though

What does a leave-in conditioner do?

what a MAJOR coincidence.
i just put that stuff in my hair, but anyways
i use it a lot like right after i take a shower, i towel
dry it then put that in. it makes my hair really soft
and shiny , & even makes it smell reeaaally good! :)
how do you use it? all you do is just try to distribute it
all through your hair, if your like me who uses a lot of hot tools
focus on the ends. i suggest not using this stuff when your hair is dry, it makes it a little sticky but i dunno your hair may be different from mines.i put this in my hair everynight and trust me it leaves your hair feels fresh and shiny. how much you put in your depends. just put in a quarter-size amount. too much won't do any good. -___-'
well anyways i hope i helpeed you.
:)

Do you have any recommendations for genuinely frizz-free curls?

Mwah hah ha, Farimah, this question is so perfect for me today! This is my hair at its best, not what it looks like right now. What I normally doI've taken to coiling my hair into a bun: after washing it and using plenty of conditioner, I blow it out, brushing the hair cuticles flat with a Mason Pearson brush or a tangle teaser. Just before it's completely dry, I tame it around the large barrel of an air curler. This straightens it - so it can be brushed and completely tangle free - but coiling it into a bun for half an hour restores a nice wavy curl. As my hair naturally has some curl, it holds it then without product. Unfrizzy tangle free curls, if never quite the same as when my mum does it.What I did this timeHowever the whole rigmarole takes forever and it got very late the other day and I wanted to go to bed. I just couldn’t get the brush through my hair in the first place, dried it whilst brushing it as best I could, rolled it up into a bun and went to bed. When I uncoiled it in the morning, it didn’t fall into curls but a frizzy knot. So I brushed it. NEVER BRUSH YOUR DRY CURLY HAIR. I then had wide, untamed mad frizz.Yep, that’s me. I couldn’t find my best glasses this morning, and took my daughter into Oxford looking like this. Luckily Oxford is pretty used to people who look like this.Today I bought myself some leave- in detangling conditioner with Argan oil. It’s still frizzy, but now it’s oily. Imagine a 1970s footballer. There are no short cuts. Once you have brushed that frizzy hair it’s like feeding a Gizmo after midnight and getting gremlins. However I would recommend this How to Detangle Doll Hair Tutorial

Well the most common brands available in India don't have the ideal ingredients that a conditioner should.A conditioner is meant to restore all the essential oils your hair loses while shampooing so one should look for a conditioner which has alot of natural oils rather than being full of chemicals . I can list the ingredients which you should look for in a conditioner so that you can a choose a good conditioner as per your budget because you won't find these ingredients in common brands like Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Dove etc.WaterAloe Vera JuiceCentromonium BromideBehentrimonium ChlorideCoconut Oil and other essential oilsSo do look for these ingredients when choosing a conditioner. Some recommendations are :Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair Conditioner SLS and Paraben Free, 210ml:Amazon:BeautyOrganix Coconut Milk Conditioner, 385ml:Amazon:BeautyVegetal Hair Conditioner 200gms:Amazon:BeautyApart from these putting the right amount of oil on your hair can help you get rid of the dullness and help you maintain healthy hair so you should definitely try out Coconut oil or Agran Oil.Thank-you.

Which is the best shampoo for curly hair?

Curly hair is awesome! This is me:I once read about a character in a book who claimed he had galactic hair. The reason he called curly hair "galactic" captivated me. Here is the paragraph for your reading pleasure:Back to your question. After years of trial and error this is the shampoo and conditioner that work best for me:This brand also has a "smoothing lotion" to use as a leave-in formula that I highly recommend.Worth noting: I don't represent this brand and am not paid by them in any way. As such this is a recommendation, not an ad.
