Does Anyone Have A Iphone 4 At

Why does everyone have an iPhone?

Because they last longer.

Most android phones have two to three years tops before they are a busted up, unsupported, laggy, virus-ridden piece of garbage.

At that point in the iPhones life, they are being sold to the second owner or only halfway through their first ownership.

Like a Honda compared to a Ford.... the TINY increase in price attracts people who take care of them better. As a result, averaged over a ten year period people will actually spend less on iPhones than they will on Androids.

How many of you Android users will make it through the 2010s on two phones? My six year old iPhone 4 is still working, and I could get $100 for it if I wanted to... still more than the price difference between it and a comparable Android phone when new.

WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE AN IPHONE?

It's because of the brand value apple has created in the consumer's mind. Apple is a premium brand, top quality hardware, restrictive yet top quality software. Having the iPhone, or any apple product, has become a style/wealth statement. Now the type of phone you like is your personal preference, you may question the owners of an iPhone, but you shouldn't criticise them. Maybe the iPhone suits them better than any other, maybe they find it attractive! (Which is not the criteria of a rational consumer I agree, but they just like it)

Does anyone else think the iPhone is too simple?

I have an iPhone 4 jailbroken and I feel like the is is too simple and boring there's supposedly 350000 apps on app store but most of them are junk there's not much good apps except the games and social apps etc but those are on android too and I also feel like I'm missing out on stuff like flash player there's frash for iPhone but it's laggy and crashes and freezes just not good and missing out on hdmi for movies and stuff and video calling on 3G/4g there's an app so u can FaceTime on 3G but it's slow and freezes most of the time and the retina display isnt that great i borrowed my cousins droid x and even though it doesn't have retina I liked the screen better it is bigger and just feels better also it's so hard playing shooter games on an iPhone like nova modern combat etc.. Also u can't put an sd card u can't move jailbreak widgets around wherever u like and it Is laggy when u put live wallpapers on an iPhone and not on an android the ps1 emulator has horrible controls unlike android also iPhone is very limited a samsung galaxy s or any android phone with 1ghz snapdragon can be overclocked to 1.6 ghz the speed of a netbook also the android has expandable memory unlike my iPhone stuck with 16 gb I have to delete alot of apps just to have space for a ps1 game also u can't run Linux on iPhone 4 atleast not yet and it will take a while for Linux to run on iPhone 4 it Is only available for iPhone 2g/3g and iPod touch 1g while android can also it's open source which means u can run homebrew and stuff also android will have playstation suite which will bring ps1 and psn games to android I can play ps1 games on my iPhone but still the emulator needs alot of work and the one that's coming to android is made by Sony so it will run faster better controls and everything and higher compability also dreamcast emu is coming to android which is awesome and there's already a ds emulator on the android market and I'm sure that with updates it will run so much faster so wat utink?

Has anyone bought the iphone app MLB AT BAT?

First, you have to actually be an mlb.tv subscriber to watch games. The app just allows you to access that subscription on your phone.

There are a few "games of the day" that you can watch without being a subscriber. But there isn't one every day, and unless its the team you're interested in (1/30 chance) it doesn't matter much.

For the blackout issue, go to http://www.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/bla... and enter your zip code in the box to see if your team is blacked out in your area.

Is anyone still using the iPhone 5s as their daily driver?

I wound up using an iPhone 5 (not an “s” or a “c”) for a few months before the iPhone X came out. It doesn’t even have touch ID. Talk about slumming!I didn’t expect to be using the 5 for that long; I thought that the X would come out the same time as the 8, so right before the announcement I gave away my main phone (a 6s) and my backup phone (an SE) to friends and relatives. Then the announcement came and the X wouldn’t be out for months! Argh! Fortunately I still had a 5 gathering dust in a drawer somewhere. The thing is, the 5 still is a pretty good phone. Compared to later models, it’s ridiculously light and built like a tank. It was still plenty fast for most things, but I will admit CarPlay sometimes was dreadfully slow. That little phone still has a place in my heart (and my drawer) for getting me through those dark three months with aplomb.

Can anyone who has used the iPhone 4 on both AT&T and Verizon in NYC comment on his/her preferences (particularly network quality)?

Verizon is far superior in New York.I recently bought a new iPhone 4 S and decided to switch to Verizon from At&T (where I'd been a customer since the iPhone debut). I have lived in New York and had an iPhone nearly the entire time.So far, there is no question in my mind that Verizon offers superior service in New York City. My office is in Soho and I live in Brooklyn Heights. At work I was never been able to send text messages while on At&T and I was unable to make phone calls 50% of the time. At home, I could send text messages, however, the phone service was atrocious. Since I don't have a landline at home, having reliable voice service was something I really need.Since switching to Verizon I can send/receive text messages from both home and work --- and I can make calls at both locations without issue. Now the downside of my switch: 1) I lost my grandfathered 'unlimited data' plan 2) I pay slightly more per month 3) you can't use the web while making a call on Verizon.Point #1 was the most difficult for me to reconcile, however, I am mainly an email and web guy and rarely watch video or such on my phone. Point #2 I was willing to deal with for the benefit of superior reliability. Point #3 I figured was more of an outlier situation -- I could say, do a quick Google Maps lookup and then call someone back.In sum: If you already have good service with AT&T then there's probably no reason to switch. If like me, you've found yourself repeatedly frustrated in New York City by terrible service from AT&T and you don't mind not having unlimited data --- make the switch.Added Bonus: Since I was not eligible for the fully discounted iPhone price through AT&T, it was actually less expensive for me to cancel my existing AT&T plan and switch to Verizon.

What does good ESN or bad ESN mean (verizon iphone 4)?

Verizon activates cell phones by the ESN number (14 digits) which is found on the inside behind of the battery of the cell phone. When a user who has verizon decides to sell his used cell phone and gives it to another person, Verizon checks the ESN number of that cell phone before they activate it. If that cell phone is tied to the person or previous owner who has a outstanding balance due or there is amount on their account that is not paid then Verizon will say that ESN number is bad and so that cell phone can never be activated again. So the person who bought that used cell phone from the previous owner is out of luck since he or she can't activate that cell phone by Verizon.

If the ESN number is good then the person who bought the used cell phone or if his friend gave him the used cell phone, then there should be no problem activating the cell phone. It means the previous owner account was in good standing and there are no issues activating that used cell phone with a new account for the new person.

So with any Verizon cell phone, make sure if you buy it online and used to always ask the seller the ESN number. Then you should contact Verizon Customer Care and ask them to check on a ESN number that you have. This way you know for sure if the cell phone can be activated or not. Otherwise if you buy the used cell phone first and later you found out the cell phone can't be activated then you just lost your money to someone online.

The iphone 4 on verizon does not loose any connection when you grabbed it in a certain way.

Do you still use an iPhone 4?

Yep.While I’m currently using a much newer iPhone SE as my regular smartphone, my iPhone 4 is in daily use as a dash camera in my car. Works great! My wife’s old iPhone 4 (that was also replaced with an iPhone SE recently) is also in daily use by a family member in another country. It was a big improvement over the iPhone 3G it replaced for them. They love it.
