Mikasa? What the hell... Stop watching anime and get back to fighting titans! I know you just helped defeat the Female Titan, but humanity needs you in the front lines, not watching brilliant anime like Sword Art Online, Trigun, Darker than Black, Senyu, Xam'd Lost Memories, D. Gray-man, RWBY, and DON'T WATCH FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD OR BLUE EXORCIST BECAUSE THEY WILL MAKE YOU GLUED TO THE SCREEN! I'm very disappointed Mikasa. And isn't it inconvenient for humanity that you can easily access all of these anime from netflix or crunchyroll... Humanity will fall because of you and your anime...

These are some of the good animes I have watched1. Death Note (Completed)Actually the first anime I ever watched. Story is about Light Yagami who gets a notebook called death note which has power to kill anyone whose name is written in it. It has around 37 episodes.2. Attack on Titan (Ongoing)Story is about a world where humanity is terrified by giants called as 'Titans'. It has 3 seasons.3. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Completed)Another anime with supernatural powers genre about two brothers and their journey.4. My Hero Academia (Ongoing)It has very great plot. It is about Izuku Midoriya who is on path to become a hero.5. Naruto & Naruto Shippuden (Completed)It is about a ninja boy who has a demon spirit sealed inside of him, and his journey to find & gain trust of his friend. It has more than 700 episodes and a lot of fillers.6. One Piece (Ongoing)Story about a boy who wants to become king of pirates. More than 800 episodes but they are worth it.7. Code Geass (Completed)A anime in supernatural powers genre about a boy who gets power to control people when they look him in the eye.8. One Punch Man (Ongoing)More of parody anime with comedy and little bit of story.
What are some suggestions for anime with a good plot and good art?
Unfortunately, majority of the anime with great storylines and strong characters in terms of design/art/traits almost always contain inappropriate scenes to some extent. That shouldn't really stop you from watching these amazing animes just because of such content.
