Does Anyone Know Any Car Insurance Companies That Have Little Or No Down Payment

Any car insurance companies w/o down payment?

No. There is no such thing as a down payment or credit when buying insurance. You actually pay the first month in advance and in advance of every month thereafter . There might be a few companies that would let you pay weekly or bi-weekly but I don't know of any.

Little to no down payment on car insurance?

No such horse, because insurance is a CONTRACT. In order for it to be valid, you have to pay money on it. Technically, you have to pay in full, although most insurance companies will offer a payment plan.

Because they have to give you notice before they can cancel the policy for nonpayment, they usually collect at least two months premium.

If they didn't, all the world would "buy" no money down insurance, keep it for a month or two, let it cancel, go to another company, and have free insurance forever.

You're probably best off renewing your current policy. Or shopping around for a cheaper one. Or raising your deductibles, to save some money.

How much do you pay for your car insurance?

I am a 25 year old female. I have a few tickets and one accident that was my fault on my record. I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon and I pay 295 for six months of coverage (liability only). However, I have been a customer for 5 years with my insurance company, so I receive a small discount. Also, if you pay for 6 months coverage, you usually get a better rate than monthly payments. Also, you get a discount for no accidents. They take a lot into account-how big a city you live in, how far you drive each day...

Are car insurance claims filed even if there is no damage done to the car?

Ideally, you should report all accidents to your insurance company, even ones where you are NOT at-fault. If there are injuries (to you, your passengers or the other party), you definitely need to file a claim (even if there is little or no damage to your vehicle).Depending on the requirements of your policy, you must report an accident within a specific time period (usually anywhere from 7–30 days) in order for certain coverage to be applicable. By not reporting the accident, you could forfeit your coverage against an uninsured or under-insured driver (if you have UM/UIM). More commonly, failure to report an accident can nullify your insurer’s ‘duty to defend’ if you are sued by the other driver! That advice is based on my professional experience as an independent agent since 2009. Personally, I think there are situations where you must make a judgement call. If it’s a parking lot accident with minimal to no damage and no police report, it’s probably not worth reporting. But if there’s any chance of injuries or a future lawsuit, it’s simply not worth the risk of not reporting it!Unfortunately, it has been my experience that the vast majority of insurers report every claim (including claims where nothing is paid). Some even report coverage inquiries (for example, if you call to inquire about glass coverage because your windshield is broken, they’ll record a claim even if you don’t file a ‘claim’). Roadside assistance claims are also reported by many companies. I advise all of my customers to buy a membership to AAA (if they don’t have coverage from the vehicle manufacturer).Almost all (99+%) of insurance claims are reported to LexisNexis and compiled on a report called a CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) Report. Your auto claims history is saved for five years and virtually all insurers use that information during their underwriting process. So you don’t want a $0 claim to be reported that could cause a rate increase or non-renewal in the future!

Putting $3,000 down payment on a car?

Hello everyone I apologize if this post sounds dumb. it's my first time trying to get a car. Don't really have much knowledge I'm still doing my research. To start off right now I have $3,000 I can put as a down payment for a car(used car). The car I want ranges from $6,000 to $9,000. How much would my monthly payments end up being? I don't really have credit built. I have some credit cards from stores that i always pay off on time. I always make sure I take care of my bills first before spending my money on things I want. However, I don't know if I'll be able to get a car from the dealer since I am only 19 and just barley building credit. I've been working in my job for almost 2 years now.

Battling car insurance! Please help!?

Okay so two days ago I was driving home from work and I work in the mountains where it’s dark not much lights. The highway is 60mph and it’s only two lanes and then the right side is a drop off on the mountains. I was driving 55 and ahead of me there was this object that appeared to look like a pile of snow. I slowed a little bit down but when I got near it it was something else I had to hit it. If I swerve to the left I would of hit multiple cars and if I went right I would of hit the rail and off the mountains. Anyways it turned out to be a rolled up carpet. It damaged the front bumper and got really tangled underneath. I pulled off to the side and got someone to help me untangle it and then a cop helped me and she filed a police report. So basically the person who dropped the carpet called to report it that it fell off their car. I contacted the officer to get their phone number and info so I can file against their insurance to pay for the damage because my insurance won’t since I only have liability. If I do get their info, how do I go about filing against their insurance? Do I give the information to my car insurance people or do I need to hire those car attorneys people? Also my car insurance found me not at fault. What do I need to do?
