Does Anyone Know Any Good Math Websites Books Software For Relearning Algebra To Calculus

What are some of the best resources to learn algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and geometry?

I would definitely recommend you Khan Academy and PatrickJMT Once you start picking stuff up, you can look into Free Online Course Materials Look into what universities are using in terms of textbooks and try to read those. Here's a couple of premade lists for you:Chicago undergraduate mathematics bibliographybooks

Which is the best site to learn and understand maths online?

It depends on what math you are trying to learn, and how you want to learn it. These ones are all great resources, and are all free to use.Khan Academy is fine for high school level math subjects taught at a very manageable pace, but sometimes it can be way slow. This is video based.Wikipedia, is great if you can read set and logic notations, and want a resource that just gets to the point. This is text based.MIT Open Courseware is great for learning college level math at a reasonable pace. This is video based.Brilliant is great for finding challenging problems to practice on. They have wikis that you can learn from, but, they are kinda meh. Problems are great though, I love Brilliant. This is text based.Udacity is mostly just programming tutorials, but they have a couple free math classes in Statistics, Algebra, and Differential Equations. Honestly not the best math resource unless you wanted these specific subjects. This is video based.Purple Math, has some good info from Basic Algebra to Linear Algebra. This is text based.Google Search, and Youtube, those work for everything.

Do you know any website that can solve math problems, especially college algebra and calculus?

Wolfram alpha is pretty popular and good for checking your work but make sure you understand the concepts and solve the problems yourself first. Only use such websites to check you have not made a silly mistake.Trying to use these websites when you don’t understand the problem can cause confusion that could actually slow down your learning process.Wolfram|Alpha: Making the world’s knowledge computable

Just finished grade 6 in Horizon math. Looking for a good curriculum after this?

We LOVE Teaching Textbooks for higher level maths. We did Horizons for elementary then tried Saxon for 7th and like you, didn't like it. Went to Teaching Textbooks for 8-12 and it's been great. My oldest is finishing up TT Pre-Calculus. It's very thorough. Wish we would have used it for 7th. The program comes with CD-Roms that teach the lesson like .you are sitting with a 1:1 tutor. Then you complete the problems. In 7th you can do the problems on your computer or the accompanied Workbook. Once you start Algebra in 8th grade the only option is the workbook. Each problem is demonstrated on the Solutions CD-Rom. You also get a test booklet and a set of Test Solution CDs, too. Best program we've ever used.

Learning to Program: Can I still learn how to code if I'm bad at math?

Yes, you can learn coding even if you are bad in math, but beware: Most programming books and tutorials give math problems as examples, so understanding that may be difficult.By "I am bad at math", if you mean you find advanced topics like calculus, advanced algebra, statistics and geometry difficult, you can still be successful as a programmer.  You may not need them unless you work on software that deal with them. However, if you are not able to deal with simple arithmetic, elementary algebra and logical reasoning, you will find it very difficult to be successful as a programmer.  Web programming looks like non-mathematical, creative designing, but in order to place a web element on a page the way you want it, you will need some math to arrive at the numbers to use.  If you develop a business application, you'll have to use some math to transform your data into the format you need to show.If you want to solve really involved computer science problems, you'll need lot of math, but all you need is basic arithmetic and elementary algebra, and in some cases, a little bit statistics and probability. If you want to be really successful, once in a while you will have to do benchmarks and performance analysis.  There are tools for those, but you need some math to interpret them and draw conclusions.Overall, you need to have some math aptitude, not necessarily knowledge or expertise.  This means, when you'll have to use some math which you don't know or you are bad at, you should be able to cope with it for the limited use you have.  If you can't do that, being a programmer will be difficult.  But, fortunately, most of us can do it.  Only the convoluted math problems taught in schools are some of us are bad at.Good luck!

Homeschool Curriculum - non-religious - 11th grade?

So right now I'm doing school online. And it's not working out - we are having Internetproblems and I've had to go to the library and pay to use the computer or drive a ways to a family members house to use their computer - so I'm going back to regular Home Schooling.
I need a curriculum that is NOT Christian, or Catholic, or anything.
I'm a junior in High School - these are the classes I need (they can be from different curriculums as long as they are NOTTT religious).
Algebra 2
Chemistry
English 10/World Literature or American Literature
Social Studies 10/World History or World Studies
Pre-Calculus or something similar
Biology (Advanced, or for 10th grade)

*I know Biology comes before Chemistry. But I want Biology so I can review, I took it in 9th grade.
*I know Algebra 2 comes before Pre-Calculus, I'm taking them both. But I obviously won't start Pre-Calc until I finish Alg.2.

Thanks in advance. !!!

What is the best website to study math?

Well, studying math involves solving math. For high-school math and undergraduate level math, I would suggest The Art of Problem solving.www.artofproblemsolving.comNot only does it have a lot of courses and online study material, but it has the largest collection of Mathematics Olympiad questions I've ever found, from all over the world. Also, the forums are very active, and people usually solve any questions posted to them in a couple of days.
