Do anyone knows how to reset a passow in a playstation 2?
I bought a brand new ps2 and i try to watch a movie on it and it said please enter your password. i didnt put no password. its the first movie i were gonna play on it and it says that. So if anyone knows how to reset it please help me

No, No , No. Its not how the sims are talking. This is what happens. I turn on the console and the menu to play the sims on the playstation pops up. That is what isn't in english. I know that the sims speak no language...... I wanted to know once you turn it on and you see the menu, how to change the language since its not in english. NOT THE SIMS SPEAKING
For some reason all my playstation 2 are now in French. The TV is in English. Any ideas?
you have changed the default laungauge of the actual PS2. Games are recorded and developed multiple times over onto the same disc, French, German, Spanish etc. so whichever set up you have configured it will play in the launguage of your country. (though some games arent) Anyway the way you solve the issue, is delete the PS2 config file on your PS2 memory card. On your browser its the PS2 console with a lighting strike on it. And the network file if you have it set up to play your PS2 online. (as when you set up the online config if you accidently say you live in a different country itll change the config file of your actual PS2) Then hard reboot your system ie, turn it to standby (hold reset) then turn it off at the power switch on the back of your PS2. wait about a min then turn power on without a game in. Set up your clock and widescreen options etc. put in a UK game or english laungauge not a dodgy copy or CDR. itll read the disc then set up that you have a UK system. all done
How do I change parental controls on playstation 2?
What u do is 1. Restart PS2 and insert movie 2. When it asks for you to choose yes or no choose YES and it'll ask you to temporarily change choose Yes again. 3. For the password press SELECT it will change to delete then type in 7444 and confirm it. 4. For a new password type in what u want most jst use 0000 for simplicity. 5. Play the movie and when it plays just stop it fully. It will come up press play to resume. 6. Go to the menu by pressing select and enter the SETUP function above the pause symbol. 7. Scroll to custom setting, scroll down to parental control which is not grey anymore and changeable and set level to off. Bingo
I am playing a DVD on my playstation 2, and the subtitles are on and i cant get them off. any help?
well, you know where the L3 and R3 buttons are at right? if you don't, it's the buttons that can rotate. you can usually use it to move characters instead of using the d-pad. anywho, try pressing down on one of those. one is for changing audio and the other should be for changing subtitles. ----- ok, since you say that didn't work, try pressing the select button while the dvd is playing. A menu should appear. scroll through all those icons. One of them should be the one for subtitles. most likely, the dvd doesn't have any subtitles to begin with, that's why your getting that error message, but go ahead and try this method to know for sure.

Pcsxr playstation emulator - Oddworld Abe's Exoddus disc change help?
I have the emulator pcsxr and on it i have been playing Oddworld Abe's Exoddus with old Playstation discs i have and i'm up to the part where i have to change the discs. After i've taken out the first disc and put in the second if doesn't seem to wanna continue on using that disc. Anyone know of this problem and whether it's actually possible to do it? (I'm using a macbook pro with osx lion just in case that's important)
How do I disable "parental control" levels on Playstation 2?
I have a slimline PS2, if that makes any difference, and every freakin' time I play a DVD it asks me if I want to "temporarily change parental control to level 8?" I didn't get that crap from a normal DVD player, and I don't want it on my PS2. I've poked around in the setup screens without success, and knowing Sony I probably have to hold down triangle, square & start on power-up or some other insipid process. If anyone knows how to PERMANENTLY disable parental controls, please let me know.

Well , there are many aspects in life where people have made rudimentary and strong beliefs and no matter what you do , how logical you get , you just can’t shake their thought process.Most of the people have accepted what their elders had taught them in their childhood just because of fearing from one small thing ,i.e. CHANGEMy one of favourite quote is as follows :-The most constant thing in this world is CHANGE.Now , coming back to your question , let me answer that by taking the example of something which has been playing with many people’s mind .i.e. GODNow , I am more of an atheist so i question everything which parents just wishes me to accept blindly!!So , one day i decided to have a little q/a session with them. Here it goes :-Me - So , u both have watched/read about Ramayana ( an ancient hindu holy book ) right??They - Duh!! Who hasn’t?Me - Fair enough , and in that book , there is a mention of a man made bridge between India and Sri Lanka named RAMSETU , right??They - Go on…Me - There was a speciality of that bridge is that all the stones had a name RAM carved on it and every carved stone wouldn’t sink ( acc. to some other story ) ..right?They - Come to the point!!Me - So if Ramayana is real and so is Ramsetu , then WHY IS IT UNDER THE WATER RIGHT NOW!!!and just like that , their inquisitive faces turned red and they started giving absurd logics and saying that ‘ You don’t understand how god works’ and blah blah.I reasoned with them for quite some time and but in the end , all my effort went to vain!!So , on that day i experienced that there are so many things which people just believe blindly and you just can’t make them see reason behind it!!P.S. - I play this game with them every once in a while.
