How to do a backward two foot glide?

When you move backward and gain speed, pull your feet toward and hold them in place to glide. Arms in a wide V in front of you, knees bent (knees should line up with toes, or be slightly behind toes, but never in front, or you'll go on your toepick) and lean forward very very slightly. (It helps for a beginner to lean forward just a tiny bit because they'll fall on their butt if they keep their spine ramrod straight.) Don't lean over your toes, or over your knees, either. Your chin should be just behind your knees when drawing a straight line up from your toes and knees.

It's basically like a forward glide, but scarier. Good luck!

Tips on forward inside pivot?

Put your pivot toepick into the ice. Point your toe and keep the picks straight down.

Bend that knee and keep your chin over it, so your weight stays on the pivoting toe. (Think of keeping the pivot toe under the pivot knee, with your chin on top of both.)

Twist and hold your arms to the side, then perform a spin start. Square your arms after you start the pivot.

Let the free foot glide around the pivoting toe on an inside edge.

It is really important to keep that free foot behind the heel of the other foot. It's a "T" position, like you would use for a T-stop. (It's also a lunge position - free foot behind the skating foot.)

If you keep your weight on the pivot leg, you shouldn't need to pump your way around. A good spin start and the proper position should get you one or two correct revolutions.

Finish by bringing your feet together into a two-foot spin, then perform a landing position spin exit.

One foot glide tips please?

No one can predict the future and say you'll complete Basic 1-8 in x amount of time. Everyone progresses at their own rate based on how seriously they take their lessons and practices. Private lessons will ALWAYS help a skater progress faster.

Basic 1 and Pre-Alpha are two different things. If you're in Basic 1, you don't need to learn one-foot glides yet. In Pre-Alpha, you do, which is the toughest maneuver on the test.

The one-foot glide wanders because you're letting your foot lean to one side or another.
Bend your knees and shift your weight to the skating foot. Keep your chin over that foot and your arms on each side. Then, just lift your knee in front of you, as if you were going to touch your lifted toe to the side of your skating foot near the instep.

Look forward (best to do this on a hockey line) and pick a target to look at that's straight ahead.
Straighten your spine - no slouching - but keep your knee bent as you balance.

Balancing on one foot off ice (barefoot/sneakers is fine) helps tremendously. If it seems too easy, do it with your eyes closed.

What is this dance leap called? Video included!?

At 1:50 is a grand jete or a regular leaap or sodasha. At 1:54 though that is a torjete (don't know if I spelled that right:) You sashe back and swing one foot back and land on other. S for example: sashe with your left foot. then swing your right keg back, land on it and swing your right foot back. This obviously goes fast and all in one. I hope this helped. :)

How to i get glide and finishing leap in kingdom hearts 2?

To get the shared ability "Glide" in Kingdom Hearts II, you must first get Final Form, which you get just after defeating Roxas and before defeating Xigbar. To get it, simply use your drive forms while fighting nobodies in The Castle That Never Was, and you will randomly turn into Final Form, which lets you use it anytime. Then, to level up your Final Form, you must use that drive form, and each nobody you defeat while you're in that drive form, will give you one experience point.

Kill nobodies until you reach level 3, and once you recieve the Glide ability, equip it, and enjoy flying around.
