The only thing that is live is the evictions/HOH comps after evictions and when Julie talks to them on eviction nights.. Everything else is taped The live feeds are live They have so much footage they can edit it however they want. You don't actually see the true story on the shows, they edit things and cut so much.They only have so much they can fit into a 42 min show.The live feeds you get to see what really goes on. By the way the first episode is not live. They enter the house about 4-6 days before the first show starts so they can get some footage about first impressions, diary rooms,first HOH and stuff. Then they turn on the feeds after the Premiere airs on west Coast.

To Yeti, I totally agree with the idea you presented, but I suppose it extends the question of is it illegal for a Japanese to watch "made in America" porn. According to article 175 of the criminal code of Japan (the article most cited when concerning japanese pornography) "any person who distributes, sells or publicly displays an obscene writing, picture or other materials shall be punished with penal servitude for not more than two years or be fined not more than two million and a half yen or minor fine. The same shall apply to any person who possesses the same with the intention of selling it." It sort of leaves the act of accessing so-called "obscene writing" in the privacy of one's own home up in the air, if you ask me. I don't remember Japan having strict internet censorship, but I don't know...
