Does Anyone Know Of Any Hiring In Pa

Does anybody know anything about 'Visionary Insurance Partners' in PA, 'Online Insurance' Sales jobs?

I've just gotten my 'Life, Health & Accident' agent's license here in MI, and responded to an ad on Craig's List from this company pitching their great program, training, huge money making potential from using their system to sell corresponding insurance products online, from your home office. They pitch their CEO as being one of Assurant Health's top agents, that you can make a phenomenal income from working and selling nationwide from your computer and home phone. - They want a "one time" start up fee of $850, due to "the great expense of creating their program and training", etc.
I can't find much online about them; but they gave me their website; vipagents.net
Anybody familiar with them? thanks.

As an executive, what should I know before hiring a personal assistant?

Both Melissa Stroud and Melissa Weir have summed up the basics.  Of major importance will be what you expect as the relationship progresses.  My wife has been a PA for over twenty years now, thirteen years with the executive she is with at present.  Her relationship with him is based on absolute trust.  It is mutual between them and if either of them looses it in the other I know the relationship will be over. I imagine your relationship with whomever you employ for this position will grow and the expectations you currently envision will change over time.  My wife began her current position as nothing more than a glorified secretary with the title of office manager.  It is a development company, so she was also responsible for shuttling contracts between principals and attorneys, all invoicing, certificates of insurance, etc.  Demanding stuff, especially at draw time each month, but otherwise routine. Then came booking the fly fishing trips to Wyoming, and the elk hunts in New Mexico, salmon fishing in Scotland, keeping track of the children's tuition payments in private school, renting a condo in Destin for the family when they wanted to stay there, trips to Sun Valley and Jackson Hole for skiing, and making certain that her boss never had anything but an aisle seat when flying commercial.  None of these duties are routine and require an almost familial knowledge of the person to be successfully accomplished over and over. So, when you are considering what this new PA will be doing for and with you, think about how the role might expand in the future and whether or not the person you are considering will fill all of those roles.  Will she like and respond to your spouse and children, if you have any?  Will she be able to deal with your parents if needed?  You may think this will never be needed, but my wife has had to deal with all of it at one time or another. Being a PA is often thought to be a plum job, but I can tell you that as a spouse of one it isn't as easy as it seems and it takes a special personality to deal with all that is expected of one.

Anyone know how or where to apply online for toll booth operator jobs between nj n pa bridges.?

If your talking about the walt Whitman I tried to apply there before and didn't know myself. But I did get the chance to apply at the Ben Franklin, what you need to do is go towards the Ben Franklin Bridge from camden get all the way over in your right hand lane. there is a street you turn right on, and the first left you park in the area and go in and see if there are hiring. Don't go over on the philly side. As Far as Tacony, Betty Ross, Commodor Berry I'm Not sure. But I do know each bridge does not have the same hiring manager. But you can always go where i told you and ask if they know where to apply for the other ones, if you have time.

Do you know of someone who was hired without a formal interview? If so, how did that happen?

This was during our MBA Senior batch campus drive, the company CeaseFire came for hiring for the position of Management Trainee. The package offered was 6.75 Lacs p.a.The criteria of the interview was,70% and above in 10th, 12th and GradsAptitudeGroup DiscussionCase StudyPersonal InterviewThey were a batch of 80 students, among which 50 got qualified following the first criteria. After couple of rounds 15 got shortlisted for the final round…Shortlisted candidates were sitting in the hall. The HR with Placement Coordinator came and announced that the package has been reduced to 2.50 Lacs p.a.All were staring each others face with a nasty blow…11 Seniors decided to walkoff as our college has a rule that one student can take only one job during campus placements.4 were still sitting for the final round as they wanted a job…The HR came again and said, “Congratulations all you 4 are SELECTED with a package of 6.75 Lacs p.a.” (without final round)That was the greatest experience I came through since that day. Life is highly unpredictable…Thank You,All the best to all the jobseekers…Cheers…

When will the hiring freeze be removed from the PA DOC?

I have been planning on working at a PA SCI for years, since I was in the Marines. I was partway through the hiring process and was unable to get in, but have since been able to correct the situation. (Hearing test). Anyway, I took my Civil Service test back in June, got a 105, and have been waiting. The HR worker remembers me, and wants to hire, and I am #5 on the hiring list, and on top of that, I just graduated college, but the HR worker can't do any hiring until the hiring freeze is removed.

Does anyone know when the PA hiring freze will be removed? The Hiring freeze has been on since at least June, and my best guess at the earliest possible time for the freeze being lifted would be January 1st, as it is a new policy year, but that is just a guess. Also, trying to figure out whether I should wait for DOC or get a differant job in the meantime, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in Advance
