Does Anyone Know The Music In Movie Carrie 2013 Version

Is carrie the movie(2013) satanic?

No. Carrie's mother is a religious zealot who abuses Carrie because she believes that she (Carrie) is evil or "a witch."

The cause of Carrie's powers is believed to be genetic, and the story heavily implies that Carrie's mother is completely batty, therefore she has unreliable judgment.

Though what happens to Carrie is tragic, it is not because she is a satanist or an evil person.

Questions about the 2013 movie of Carrie?

1. Mainly because her mother was crazy religious and people tend to stay away from religious folks
2. Her mom makes her clothes. It wasn't emphasized in the movie as much thought
3. She said it was the "sin of blood" but I think it was because when you get your period that marks when you can start getting pregnant
4. In the old movie, it said that she got it from her father I think. I know someone in her family is the same as her. They didn't put it in the new version of the movie though
5. At one point, the really mean girl Chris said that she went around telling everyone that they were all going to hell so I'm assuming that's why

Love both Carrie movies but I hated the 2002 remake

In the movie Carrie(2013) what is the conflict?

Well, her mother is the biggest problem. She raised Carrie in total isolation and taught her nothing about the world and life. Let's face it, she was a psycho who believed Carrie was an abomination she gave a chance to live.
Apart from that, her classmates didn't help her insert the society. They chose to bully her instead.
i don't think her abilities would have been such a big thing if she had been raised normally. Then she wouldn't be so scare of everything and she might have used her powers in a very different way.
I also think that her abilities came up as a relief and a self defense from her awful life. She was so controlled and pressed by her mother and other people that her frustration, fear and hate became a powerful force she learned how to control.
The main conflict in the movie seems to be the moment of the ball, but to me is when she comes back and faces her mother.
At least that's what I think.

Hope it helps! ;)

Which Carrie movie is better 1976 or 2013?

the original is always the better one and had the actual horror feel to it. the 2013 remake was pretty good and had some cool alternate scenes and better special effects, but didn't seem like a horror film at all

How does the 2014 live musical starring Carrie Underwood compare to the "Sound of Music" movie starring Julie Andrews?

You have it backwards.  The stage musical came first.  The Sound of Music was written for the stage by Rodgers and Hammerstein and first performed in 1959.  The 1965 movie was an adaptation of the musical.  The 2014 live performance is not, thus, a remake - it is the original.  Comparing a theatrical performance with a motion picture is challenging.  Each has its areas of strength and weakness.  The grand scale and sweeping shot of Julie Andrews running across the hills can't be duplicated on a stage.  The family can't skip through beautiful Salzburg on a stage.  A film isn't limited by the number of sets that can fit on the stage - it can travel more.  A film can also have take after take until they capture just the right performance.  Mistakes can be edited out.  In fact, the actors don't even have to be able to sing.  Neither Christopher Plummer (Captain Von Trapp) or Peggy Woods (Mother Abbess) did their own singing in the film - both were redubbed by better singers. That's where the stage actually acquires a strength - the fact that it is live adds to the performance - the risk makes it more engaging. The film is one of the all-time greats and Julie Andrews is a world treasure. The musical performed last week was fun and entertaining.  It had good production values and very nicely designed stage sets.  It was not without fault.  The sound was eratic throughout much of the performance, with a lot of noise being picked up by the mics during quiet scenes.  Carrie Underwood performed the singing role wonderfully.  I was not aware she had such a good voice.  Her acting needed work.  She was naturally charismatic and appropriate for Maria, but her emotional range and variation in spoken pitch showed a lack of experience.  Stephen Moyer was a little surprising.  His acting performance came across as more clipped than it needed to be, but his singing was better than I expected.  The strongest performances came from stage veterans Audra McDonald (Mother Abbess) and Laura Benanti (Frau Schrader).  I thought the children all did a good job.It received great ratings, and I hope that encourages the networks to bring more live theater to the small screen.

In the movie Varsity Blues (1999) why does coach say "Cry me a river" when that song wasn't released until 2003?

I assume you’re thinking of the Justin Timberlake song of that name (which according to Wikipedia was released in 2002). There’s another song of the same name, most famously a hit for Julie London in 1955.

Is the movie Carrie (2013) scary?

My definition of scary: Scary Movie (yeah...I know..that should be a comedy...)

But I can watch less paranormal stuff that has killing, like SVU or shows on ID, I don't find those to be all that scary.

Why does Carrie Fisher not have an official star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame but Donald Trump has one?

The star in question has to make an effort to get it. Some of the biggest stars in the world (Julia Roberts, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, and Al Pacino) don’t have one because they just never bothered. Trump, being a lifelong obsessively self-promoting boob, clearly did.Fisher was known to have issues all her life with fame. She saw it do horrible things to her parents. In any case, being from Hollywood royalty, she was very unimpressed by it.

Questions about ending to Carrie 2013?

i just watched Carrie (the new one) and as i look online i see the ending of after Sue puts down the flower, the grave cracks. but thats not what happened when i just watched it...
when I just watched it, it was sue like gasping and then her trying to give birth but then a bloody hand shoots out of her stomach-ew. And then its like a bloody hand comes out of the ground and grabs her but then its suddenly Sue in her room with her mom cradling her on her bed and then it ends.
