Does anyone know some good websites or apps to download free books to iBooks?

IBooks is like iTunes. You can buy books there.

Many times the App is free but the items there are not free.

Remember that authors write books to sell. They generally can't afford to give the books away for free. The following sites are FREE and LEGAL.

Does anyone know of an alternative app to ‘Liquid Text iOS app’ for windows 10 and/or Android?

Hi, I’m the founder and CEO of LiquidText—here are a couple points that might answer your question:Alternative Apps:Alternative app for Win10: I’m sorry to say I actually don’t know of one. But to some extent, it depends on how you’re using LiquidText. If you want to pull out excerpts to a workspace, draw live connections between documents, pinch-collapse your texts to compare pages, etc.—then I know nothing that comes close. But if you simply want to do some highlights, then any PDF reader (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader) should do well. Why Don’t we Move to WindowsAl Klein is right that it’s a huge project to move to Windows (or Android)—the entire app needs to be rewritten! We’ve considered some of the cross-platform development solutions, but our app has a lot of complex, high speed graphics and so needs to squeeze every bit of speed out of the hardware that we can. In at least one place, we have to manage our own memory! No cross-platform development solution was a good fit.So we’ve been interested in moving to Windows for a couple years now but it hasn’t made sense…until now. We’ve now started hiring the people to do the development, and are writing the first pieces we’ll need. So no release date yet, but hopefully soon.

Is there an app to know my iPhone's or iPad's charging current?

If you use your iPad’s power brick to charge your iPhone 6, its battery will fill up faster. This unadvertised yet supremely handy feature was first spotted by MacRumors and iLounge and can be confirmed through a Mac’s built-in System Information app.Although the newest iPhones still come with the same familiar small white power brick rated for 1 ampere and 5 watts, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can take advantage of the 2.1A and 12W charger included with the iPad Air to charge more quickly. It doesn’t just work with [company]Apple[/company]-branded chargers, either: Any 2.1A charger can provide an extra bit of current to the latest iPhones, including high-wattage USB ports on newer laptops. You can try with this: Apple USBA 2.1A charger should be able to fill up an iPhone 6 battery up to 90 percent in about two hours. As other smartphone makers like Motorola tout faster chargingas a differentiating feature, it’s odd that Apple wouldn’t update its included power bricks or tell consumers that this feature exists. You’ve always been able to use an iPad charger with the iPhone, but the iPhone’s hardware used to only draw as much current as it could handle (which is 1A for the iPhone 5S and before.) Some battery experts warn that more amperage — “quick charging” — could reduce battery lifespan, although that matters less if you replace your phone every few years.

Do free iphone and ipad apps make any money?

There are generally a lot of free apps in the app store, but there are also a lot of paid apps. Usually, companies offer free versions of their paid apps. For instance, their free apps may offer some of the features of the paid app but the free version won't allow access to all of the great features. They basically use the free app to "hook" the people and then get paid off and make profits when the people realize how good the full version must be and buy it. Offering a free app is beneficial because a lot more people will try it out and download it since they figure they have no money to loose. Whereas with a paid app, users may be hesitant to pay money for a brand new app that they never heard of and don't know what to expect. Alot of free apps out there contain advertisements. This means that the user has to view the advertisements while using the app. The maker of the app is probably making money from this because they are getting paid to advertise someone else's product. I would suggest offering a free or trial version of your app so that it will become more well known to users. Then, once People are "hooked" to your app you can release the paid version of the app and reel in the profits$. Or you could simply release the full version for free for a limited time and then start charging for it. The main thing is to get your app well known so that people will download it when you start charging for it. Hope this helped. Good luck with your app!
