The motif is similar to our Kedah Sultanate Tara coin (Tara or Tera is a denomination coin for tin coinage). This sultanate is situated southern of Siam. Due to this, eventhough Kedah Sultanate was an Islamic Sultanate, it was highly influenced by Buddhism which comes from Siam. So I think that this coin had to do something with Buddhism - could be a charm.

Why doesn't anyone know the meaning of life?
I proclaim that I know the answer: To be happy or not to be unhappy are the only logical answers. Which I will consider equivalent in this answer and I will try to proof my answer by given facts that everyone can observe. Given the true facts that you are a human being who can feel either good or bad, you want to feel good. From this fact arises everything you can learn in life about other feeling beings and yourself. Feelings are the only thing that will distinguishing us from an artificial intelligence. For an AI feelings are only numbers, but it will never know what pain or pure happiness is because else wise it wasn't artificial anymore. So the feelings are giving us the meaning.But happiness is much more complex than I probably can explain in this answer and reading this answer you might think: money makes me happy so the meaning of life is becoming rich or you might think helping others makes me happy so the meaning of life is this. So you notice it's not easy because if you think about it, a lot of things can make you happy and sticking only to one has it's flaws and trying to stick to all has it's flaws too. So finding out what makes you happy and what to spend time for is the greatest part of the meaning of life. It's learning. It's what you should do your whole life and everybody will find different answers to the question what is making him/her happy. And after thinking about the meaning of life and coming to this conclusion I found out Aristotle already proclaimed that happiness is the ultimate goal for a human being. Aristotle And Martin Luther King said stuff like that too:"Those who are not looking for happiness are the most likely to find it, because those who are searching forget that the surest way to be happy is to seek happiness for others."So the meaning of life is to be happy and to learn about your feelings to reach that goal constantly.
